Snapping a man's neck in front of children or throwing (not killing) him down a shaft to temporarily incapacitate him while police arrive. Yea one of those is definitely Superman.

if he didn't want to kill zod why didn't he just bring him to jail with lex. Dude was powerless, sorry I don't buy it. We never saw zod again on screen in that movie!

yes so reeve superman wwould have let the family get burned, fly away to a ship depower zod then throw him against a wall break his back and let him slide down an endless pit never to be seen on screen again
