Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

This thread needs that Christian Bale gif where he's talking about Superman ripping Metropolis a new ******* :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Well obviously since every stage of the gif has cuss words. This is not the board for it. :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

As long as he's not actually killed Superman will always win. As he'll survive anyone and everyone eventually anyway. Superman always has the waiting game to play as a back up strategy.:lol Well the CB Superman anyway.

Honestly, it's funny, because Superman will always win because he was made to win, and Batman will always win because he's Batman.

Neither is logical.

Its the main flaw with how both superman and batman are usually portrayed at least in the old DC one is basically unbeatable do to his god like strength and in order to compensate for that they then turn Batman in to this brilliant strategist to try to draw attention away from the fact that he is basically a normal guy sitting with at punch of superpower people and so since he has no " superpowers" they load him up with tech and give him extremely cunning intellect to try and place him on some form of equal footing. Which to me was a little presumptuous in thinking that everybody else does not have some level of intellect and that Batman's tech does not help him even the odds a bit.

I like the way the new 52 approached it at least what I saw in the justice league comic and later on the animation Justice League War, that fact that green lantern is questioning him and poking fun of him because he has no real powers so even in his fight with superman he is obviously out classed, but he still ends up using his cunning and intellect to help save him when he get captured by Dark Side.

batman always wins. logic 101.

Sarcasm aside, that's not accurate at all, I've only read like 2 out of 12 fights between Bats and Supes in which Bats "wins" as in Superman let him win and was holding back the entire time and trying to stop with the fight.

The rest of the fights either Batman had to flee like a ***** or Superman won. :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I hope the film isn't actually about beating or winning, I hope it's about the fact that Batman will simply approach Superman on the fact that Superman exists and that that has consequences for the entire world that Batman will to some extent want to influence and manipulate in order to keep bad people like Lex from doing the same for the wrong reasons.

I do hope to some extent Batman puts Superman on trial, whether it's his combat abilities or his moral ones. And in return I hope Superman will "pass" and will inspire Batman out of his apparent cynicism and to form an alliance to battle greater existing or coming evil. There has to be a reason Batman is apparently so depressed about everything, if that old info is correct. Might be the same stuff Jon Kent was so cautionary, there's a lot about this universe/earth we probably don't know yet. Hell maybe Lex already IS president and is ****ing everything up, or something else akin. Earth could be in a pretty dire state actually. There might actually be a LOT wrong in the world (as there is in the real one), and so in this film a new dawn rises between Superman and Batman... And the outcome will be Justice.

A Justice that will garner both allies and enemies along the way...

That's kinda how I look at/ interpret it currently...

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I'm still pretty convinced were getting Jesus Superman. Everyone will hate him and want to bring him down, he'll die saving the city and become a martyr.

batman always wins. logic 101.

Batman = Lex Luthor + Ninjas. That's basic math. :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I hope he didn't put that together while still being confused by Clark's glasses.

After this happened recently

He put the pieces together and figured it out. Sadly his intellect, as well as 99% of the DC universe doesn't allow him to use basic common sense and look past glasses. :slap

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

People's egos won't allow them to believe someone with such power and "perfection" would humble themselves to such a modest position. He doesn't need food or anything, so people just think he'd go back to his Fortress of Solitude or selfishly believe he should be a hero 24/7. They don't realize he needs food, sleep, friends, family, work, etc., to keep himself mentally stable like everyone else. If you're brain isn't working right, you're body will start to crash. He'd also vibrate, so no one could get the details right, but I don't know how long that was kept up. What never made sense is why Lois Lane who he has spent time with, couldn't make the connection. Then add on that she's a world class reporter, it's ridiculous. I'm glad they got that out of the way in Man of Steel. I'm really looking forward to how they further it in the new movie! The chemistry felt kinda rushed to me previously.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

The fact that Lois Lane figured it out, makes sense, but everybody not making the connection is nothing implausible, he's just a dorky, clumsy, awkward reporter, and yes, glasses are more than enough to not recognize someone, there are I don't know how many people who look a LOT like you your own city, Superman should be no exception to that.
