Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I figured they’d work Doomsday in JL somehow, I guess it would be too early, and they might have to rush him in, I could have sworn one of the earlier rumors on JL were the villains would be Darkseid and Doomsday.

Well since they are rushing everything it wouldn't surprise me if they did.... they should have given this movie 4 more years of development with more solo movies

Fortunately they did delay the movie an extra year to work everything out. I think they gave themselves enough time to work everything out, and Goyer's script is being tweaked by a much more talented writer.

New suit or fan made?

Awesome anyway!

The Batman v Superman twitter page posted the pic along with an interview so seems like its safe to say its real. Looking good. I'm sure when Kevin Smith first saw the picture of the new Batsuit he said Bats and Supes were on a roof top. Could be from the photoshoot. Maybe we'll get a colour photo of Affleck Batman soon.

SHH:

Following a look at Henry Cavill as Clark Kent earlier this week, Warner Bros. Pictures has now revealed the first photo (via USA Today) of the Man of Steel star as Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

Director Zack Snyder tells the newspaper that adding DC Comics characters such as Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) makes the movie "thicker, denser and more epic" than Man of Steel and allows it to be the next step toward building a strong movie universe that will ultimately lead to Snyder's Justice League.

USA Today adds that "'Dawn of Justice' continues to immerse Superman on Earth by working at the Daily Planet as Clark Kent along with Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and Perry White (Laurence Fishburne). But it also takes him to new environments such as Gotham City and introduces larger threats, including Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg). The debuting heroes Superman meets will affect his perspective on Earth and on the ones he loves, and Snyder feels his convictions will be drawn into question as well."

As far as Affleck's Batman, Snyder said to expect an older, road-weary take on the Dark Knight. "It's cooler to see a crusty old Batman beating the snot out of guys," he said.

Snyder also explained the 'v' in the title instead of the traditional 'vs.' They did it "to keep it from being a straight 'versus' movie, even in the most subtle way."

Snyder added that he has yet to film any scenes with Gadot as the Amazonian princess. "She's working out and getting buff and ripped."

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Guess that makes sense. It looks like it could be a grubby Gotham. No doubt it always rains there. :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

As did Batman Begins. Although that was probably my favourite Gotham, before it just became bland and generic. Really hope we get a Gotham that feels like Gotham in this movie.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Nope, not directly without kryptonite or other kinds of aid. so I hope they introduce kryptonite in this movie, so we could have a balanced superfight without much destruction that was so dreaded by many.

David Cain is an assassin.
Victor Zsasz is a homicidal psycho.
And Amanda Waller is the government/congress type baddie, she turns good sometimes, because she has moral principles, kinda like a bad female Nick Fury, without the guns (pre 52) she's part of the suicide squad in the new 52 I think.

Although usually, when there's kryptonite involved, Superman ends up biting the dust, that can work too.

She's not part of the SS, she is still in her role as the government agent heading up the program. The only change they made to her is she is now all sexy, where as before her nickname was The Wall.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

- Belt shape is more of a square now
- More lines on his sides
- His "S" symbol seems to be tweaked a bit too.
- Wrist gauntlet seems to be more integrated into the suit instead of as a separate piece like before
- No more collar

Not to mention he got even more buff. His upper body is giving me Alex Ross vibe. Kinda liked his slimmer toned look from the first movie but at the same time he does have a more comic buff superman look going on now.

I have a feeling this poster is a part of a larger poster with the other characters being on the left and right.

I hope so. If nothing else, I am hoping we get the following at SDCC:
A Teaser Poster(possible)
Full Cast Reveal of the Big 7(probable)
A Look at the Wonder Woman Costume(possible)
Some teaser footage, like a quick montage maybe a little dialogue(wishful thinking)
