hey Kabukiman it's just really draining when you have to live through it back to back. We here in Philly got 14" last week, shut down all services mostly, you shovel your walk around your house and then some melt and leave the slipperyest patches ever, cars can't get out of parking spots. the parks look nice and fun but now it's just frozen mountains of ice. my walk into work that normally takes 18 minutes takes 40 minutes, so No! it's not exactly fun for us grown ups that live and have to work through this mess, and to have another batch of bad weather is putting everybody in a bad mood.

eh, my 1 hour commute often becomes a 2 1/2 hour commute with snow. It's just the price we pay for living in the snowy states. Love it or leave it! :nana:

Looks like most of Oklahoma will be snowed in Tuesday. It's not the norm for this state anymore so people tend to get in a tizzy over any snowfall greater than 3 inches. My area is in for a possible 10".

As long as the power stays on I'm all for a snow day or two. :D

Yeah, as long as there is power I'm good to go for a few days off :rock :rock

I thought we'd get one a couple weeks ago when every damn thing in the State was closed, but no such luck :lol

Yup. The past thurs, fri and sat rocked in the 70's and the rest of this week is gonna be ball sucking cold and snow . . .

No crap; 70's on Saturday and snowbound on Tuesday :panic:

I had to go to OKC that Thursday morning and Hwy 33 was awful. Clear as can be that afternoon though.

Not going to be that way this time if we get the 10" they predict. I won't be able to get out of the drive if that happens.

I feel for you all. We are actually having clear weather up here - no rain! But it's a bit chilly - but I'm not going to complain. As long as we remain snow free in the city - I'm as happy as can be.

I'm looking forward to the day off... it counts as administrative leave so I still get paid, but don't loose any sick or annual leave :rock :rock

We're supposed to get snow, then ice, then snow again. The only thing I worry about is the power going off. No heat would be a real _____ in this weather! :(

It's nice and sunny here in SoCal, little chilly for us. We've been having beautiful weather for a few weeks now, really nice sunsets, I love living by the beach.

It's nice and sunny here in Arizona, little chilly for us. We've been having beautiful weather for a few weeks now, really nice sunsets, I love living by the dirt.

3 degrees here. 1-3 inches forecast for tomorrow night. A foot forecast for Wednesday.

It's been snowing here for two weeks straight. Light, but enough to keep roads covered, and the temperature hasn't been above 20F, so there is a permanent layer of potential ice on everything. I've seen dry road maybe 3-4 times since the year began.

I'm about ready for winter to ____ off.

Hope all the Freaks are safe in this mess. The rain came and went already here in Houston, but I heard they've already gotten 8-10 inches of snow where I used to live in NE Oklahoma with 12-18 forecasted.
