some people hate the fact that I use mouse aim on consoles (frag fx shark).

some of you told me if I would play on pc I would get owed.
well you where all wrong.

Btw BF3 on pc on all ultra setting on is the way to go.

I wanted to check out the patch, so I jumped on..1 gig?! WTF. Is there a new game in there too? Gadzooks! That's biggest freaking update in console history.

Yeah....not liking it...not liking it at all. The new suppression is crazy. One bullet comes near you and your screen gets a nice layer vaseline. Several bullets will turn your screen into mush. If that wasn't enough of an effect, they've added bullet spread to your weapon while you're "suppressed" making it pretty much luck based. Burst fire doesn't even help. You just miss because the game says so. You're suppressed after all. This further lends the game to camping.

It was difficult for me as an average gamer to run and gun before, but now with added recoil, reduced bullet damage, added bullet spread and stronger suppression effects, there's no reason to ever run again. Find a nice spot and just wait for some poor schmuck to move into your field of fire. Cover is more important than ever, so the worst thing you can do now is...gasp...move! About the only time I was able to hit a thing was when I was laying prone. Not much fun in that though IMO.

Sorry to say that I think I'm done with BF3. It wasn't meant to be. BC2 was fun at least.

I sucked at shooting before this, now I'm not even bothering with guns anymore, I just go around dropping radio beacons the entire time now.

So what does everyone think of the rent a server?

I personally hate it with a purple hearted passion. It's WAY too difficult to just get a normal game on a Dice server. Want to play a quick game of Conquest? Good luck. The searches are all crudded up with rented servers doing god knows what...granted,i don't play anymore. I just forgot to complain about it in my last post.

Played it tonight. Yeah, finding a server is a large pain. Also didn't care for the rise in strafe upwards when shooting some of the guns. I think they corrected things a bit much.
