I still have yet to see multiplayer footage of the xbox 360 version or the ps3 version and the jimmy kimmel crap dosent count that was single player I have a feeling that the only reason they keep showing pc versions is because the console version mutiplayer might be crap.

I wouldn't be concerned about multiplayer. But I would be concerned that they haven't shown any 360 footage at all. They've shown some PS3 stuff which shows the graphics aren't as good as PC, but I'm wondering if the Xbox will be even worse.

Well, there's no mystery about the graphics. They won't be as good as PC. Period. But...that doesn't mean much in the end. The console versions could still be the best looking shooters on the consoles...that's pretty damned good IMO. I have faith in Dice. They make good games. The Battlefield franchise is very important to EA. Too important to screw up on consoles. It will be awesome in every format it comes out on. I have no doubts. I do wish I had a beast PC though heheh.

I'm still not concerned about the graphics as long as the gameplay is great. I'd be happy with Battlefield Bad Company 2 graphics how they are on the 360 now, they're going to be much better than that though !.

I was watching some "Hiter reacts to" vids on youtube and came across a PC VS PS3 footage vid and honestly, although PC looks better my immediate thought was, i'm not gonna have them side-by-side and PS3 will look ace when there is not a frame-by-frame comparison showing the lighting and texture differences.

BFBC2 was good enough for me, even if they improved it just 20% on the console would still make it the best looking console game ever, yeah I would be happy.

It's not so much them messing it up. My concern would be that they developed for PC and really pushed the graphics and are being forced to bring them down a lot to work on consoles.

Only a dummy could look at all the PC commercials with the graphics pushed to the max on the most powerful PC and think that the Xbox will look the same.

The great thing about DICE and this series in particular though is that the console versions plays awesome even with the graphics just at 20% of the quality that can be achieved on the most powerful of PCs.

Don't think for a second that a PC bought off the shelf at SAMS club and Best Buy will make this game look like those commercials either.

But just like you on your uber PC, console players will be having way too much fun enjoying the gameplay to worry about sub HD graphics.

Besides, you're talking what......a difference of 720 to 704.

I would enjoy BF3 if it was 480p.

Where'd this footage come from? Just curious.

Anyways, it looks good to me. It obviously lacks a lot of the detail and finer touches the PC version will have, but it still has that amazing movement to it. The destruction is still there and the sound is still awesome. If you don't own a beast PC, then you can't miss what you never had. Console gamers will just get use to how the game looks on consoles and will probably be content. I know I will be.

Understood. But you can still see some detail missing. Nothing major, but perceptible. I'm so stoked for this game. I hadn't seen such a long clip of the jet gameplay before. Cool stuff. I don't even like that kind of thing really but the made it look so real, i wanna check it out.

Seeing more single player, the only issue I have is how scripted it's looking. BC1 had a great single player campaign because it was more open and you could drive around hit objectives from a number of angle and whatnot. BC2 scrapped that for a more scripted campaign that was fun, but not as good as BC1 because of a lack of freedom. It looks like they've gone back to that formula for BF3. I'm sure it'll still be fun but was hoping for a more open experience again.

That first maps probaby from Doom or something. Not exactly progress is it? The CoD formula has taken over these shooter campaigns. Scripted to hell. Not bad once, but kills any replay value. I use to love playing through these games multiple times, but I rarely do that these days.
