Did a quick look at a gaming forum and the complaining is at epic levels. Not surprisingly, people are disappointed with the graphics. Never underestimate the power of stupid. People see high end PC footage and somehow think it'll look the same on their 360s. Sad. The beta will end up hurting the games sales more than helping it. The bad map choice combined with the nonmagical graphics will probably hurt it in the end.

Well nearly all games are advertised as available on.. PS3 Xbox 360 and PC

Notice how whether PS3 or Xbox 360 is first, PC is always advertised as last.

So a person sees footage and they consider that the game they'll get on the top 2 platforms listed when advertsied, not the last platform.

I played the beta on PC and my first impressions are not great. Web browser based first of all. Hopefully that will stay in the beta only. The gameplay feels more like CoD and MoH which I don't really like. Graphics are ok, but as of right now, I prefer the ones in BC2. It's just a beta and nothing can be tweaked as far as I can see, but it's not a good start ! Was looking so forward to this game.

I'm not surprised, it was exactly what I thought would happen.

you can partly blame them and partly blame DICE for not stating in trailers that footage was PC

Honestly right now there's not much you can do in the beta...not even bind your keys. You have to play with the ones assigned as far as I can see (unless I missed it). Haven't seen any firing modes either. I play PC though.

For those who have played the Beta...

Can you change firing modes on a rifle like in the single player, single shot, semi-auto and full auto?

Still havent played, but I'm positive you can change fire settings on certain guns like the M16.

I played the beta yesterday on the 360 and I'm not too impressed. I understand it's just a beta but the action feels too slow. I think I may prefer Call of Duty's multiplayer as this game feels like Socom which I hate. I plan on getting the game anyway for the single player but I may not play much of the multiplayer. I'll give it a try on the final game but I doubt it'll change much.

ya im really not diggin' first impressions.

I play's to much like MOH, its VERY buggy and the graphics are just horrible on the 360.. no shadows or nothing. You also dies from 2-4 bullets and you dont even really know your getting hit till your dead, also snipers just sit and watch your spawn.

Too bad as I was really looking forward to this game... oh well back to gears for now

This is my biggest gripe with it so far. I'll just be walking or creeping along and POW I fall and die. No idea I was even being shot at. 1 or 2 hits and you are dead. I understand this may be the point. Realism and all, but a fun game that does not make.

It's been confirmed that bullet damage is like CoD now. 3 or 4 bullets. The servers are just a bit laggy right now. That's where the feeling of one shot deaths is coming from. I'm sure you notice that its not instant kills when you shoot people. I think that's why they added all that recoil. To balance out the new bullet damage.
