Belgian Army, used to be in the 2nd Commando Regiment, due to injury I now work at the Military Hospital in Neder-Over-Heembeek. I was 16 when I joined, 17 when I got injured during training I got a bullet in the back and since then they said I'm not combat effective, so I chose to help in the hospital.

Oh, and by the way, that helmet means it's the lighter version, slightly less bulletproof but easier to wear. ;)

Whoa! Awesome.

I use an EOTech with 2x Scope in real life and it's amazing and should've been in BF3. I can't see why they didn't, it's realistic as soldiers use these all the time.

I like my acog better than the eotechs. but those are still pretty cool too.

They really really need to improve their game matching system. The options hardly mean anything---the only setting that does anything for me is choosing which game type and which map. Choosing a game size doesn't do anything, setting it to only join games with 1-5 open slots does nothing (I often get matched to a game with no other players). And I often get matched to a game that is just about to end.

It's really frustrating considering that it's a good game, but they really didn't think through their system

Finally had some fun games. A bloodbath on Operation Metro that we barely lost after a great comeback and a solid, competitive game on Kharg Island. Metro is a great Conquest map. Nice, straight forward infantry map with lots of cqc madness.

My map thoughts so far.

Caspian Border. 7/10Too big and spread out for my taste. Tends to drag a bit

Operation Firestorm. 7/10 Again..huge map, but better positioning of the flags keeps the action moving.

Kharg Island. 8/10 Big, but flags are close enough together to keep things moving. This has bee a good "big" map.

Nosher Canals 8/10 another strong big map. Always have crazy games on this one.it's big, but confined, so the land and air vehicles can be chaotic in a good way.

Operation Metro 9/10 A fav of mine. It's small enough to be crazy, but big enough to give you room to move. The standoffs for B flag can be a blast. Good ol' bullet storms.

Seine Crossing 9/10 A fav. It's infantry focused and mostly cqc. Only problem is all the camp spots the buildings offer. Usually have good matches here.

Terhan Highway 8/10 A good bigger map. The B flag can be a bit of a shooting gallery with high ground on either side, but camping isn't too bad and it's usually an actiony map.

Grand Bazaar 8/10 tough one. It can be a lot of fun and it's an infantry focused map, but the B flag is such a choke point that it can turn not stalemates every game. Rocket and grenade spamming is rampant. Still though, the action is constant which is good.

Damavand Peak 7/10 this can be a fun one, but again with the B flag. Inevitably, it becomes a firefight in the dark trying to hold that thing. The outer bases are mostly for show.

That turned into more work than I expected.

Anyways, I don't hate any of the maps, but there's a few I don't get too happy about seeing.

Nosehair Island is my least favorite. My favorites are Caspian and Grand Bazar for tighter fights. Might be because the only thing I really play is rush.

Terhan Highway is the worst map for both Rush and Conquest.

Seine Crossing can be horrible on Rush, but is great for Conquest.

Nosehair Canals great for conquest, but bad for Rush.

Caspian is toooo big for console 12 v 12.

Favorites have to be Kharg Island or Damavand Peak (especially on Rush when you get to base jump) and Operation Firestorm.

Here are my favorite maps, nothing in BF3 is as memorable as these for me:

Arica Harbor
Valparaíso
Isla Inocentes
Panama Canal
Port Valdez
White Pass
Laguna Presa
Laguna Alta
Atacama Desert

Ontop of that, BF3 went backwards in console graphics, what the hell DICE

I hope I can come around on this game.

Jye, you're killing me bro. If you don't like BF3 don't play it. I'm sure you can still find games in BC2.

Well, I don't condone it, but going prone in a dark corner facing a busy spot with a suppressed weapon would probably work. Seine Crossing or Metro are good traffic maps to get it done. I have no idea what ribbons I have though.

some people are just better at whining than at the game itself.

Activate your battlefeed if you haven't done so already.

Very cool to see your stats, medals/ribbons, and progression:

I got two in one round (10 Kill Streak) but it was damn scary at times, i ran out of ammo had to switch to an unfamiliar gun, had three rounds left with one kill to go, couldnt find any ammo packs about, shot the dude with the pistol, he went prone i recovered and got him with the last three rounds of my rifle.

Damn scary, but then without the worry i managed to get one more kill with the pitol, from a guy who had dropped ammo, then found two guys prone in a building and got them.

I've only had it ten times. =(

Keep moving. Flank the enemy. Don't get into gun fights. Be medic so you can heal yourself?

Just guessing.
