They still make you use Origin on the pc?

For beta it was through origin or a combo of both; you can log into through battle log on a browser and then find a server to play on. Origin is going to launch no matter what because it's trying to save and or load your data and what not.

Or through origin, you can click on the game then instantly, it will open up the browser and redirect to battle log.

I think it's the same.

Messing around on the emblem editor :lol

The Euro vs U.S. match on Live was a fun watch.
Pretty intense game play.
U.S. dominated in the air and shut out the Euros.

Microsoft again uses Battlefield 4 PC footage in Xbox One promo

Once again, Microsoft is caught using PC footage for an Xbox One promo of the game.

Microsoft has apparently once again used PC footage of Battlefield 4 and tried to pass it on as actual Xbox One gameplay footage. Microsoft recently sponsored a Battlefield 4 event where players from the US and Europe competed on Xbox One consoles, and the promo video featured Xbox One footage (notice the “Backspace” button in the top right corner — 50+ sec in).

This isn’t the first time Microsoft has done this. During the E3 press conference in June, the Xbox One stage demo crashed and DICE used the PC version as a backup.

Then at the PAX event a few months ago, players thought they were playing the actual Xbox One version of the game. But it was just Xbox One controllers that were hooked up to PCs hidden away.

It’s surprising that Microsoft still uses PC footage of Battlefield 4 for promotional purposes, when we know that the game runs pretty well on Xbox One — check out a recent video here. At least, we think it’s running on the Xbox One…

Battlefield 4 will be an Xbox One launch title when the console is released on November 22 in North America.

Both Sony and Microsoft are guilty of doing that. Sony used a screen grab from the xbox360 to market one of their games on the PS3 when they first came out.

Not news worthy.
