BF3 SP did suck but I will admit that the SP jet level taking off the carrier part was awesome with the OST playing, plus Thunder Run start was also cool.

The rest sucked. :lol

Played through it on my PC once and didn't find any problems with it. Certainly wasn't any worse than any of the recent CoD single-player modes.

Thought i'd post this here...

The commentators basically call the game like it's a sport :lol

Has there been any coverage on a SP campaign? I really hope they nail this one as thats the only reason I havent invested in this series. I know its all about MP with Battlefield, but I think thats because they dont give the SP campaign the attention it deserves. With these graphics I really hope they make something spectacular on that front.

So since the PS4 doesn't have a select button for spotting i hope just a swipe of the touch pad is used or the share button which is just above and next to the D-pad

Though neither would be as good as the select button as you could press it without leaving the left stick

Spotting changed, no longer going to be attached to the select button.

I forgot how its being done now, I believe its going to either be with one of the shoulder or trigger buttons or clicking down on one of the sticks.

NOOOOO

Why change it

All attack buttons were the triggers.

Sticks were for movement R3 for crouching and loooking around. L3 for Sprinting and moving.

The D-Pad for equipment

Face buttons for actions.

Select for Recon

The button layout for BF3 was perfect. :(

DICE said too many gamers complained of the select button. :rotfl

But now they're gonna mess with the allocation of others, it was all so neat and bunched together for what you wanted to do :(

Anyway here is Steven Spielberg playing BF4

Maybe I misunderstood the spotting changes, here's more info:

Spotting now has a hand gesture and will spot multiple targets at once, eliminating the need to spam the spot key (and in my case annoy my wife with the constant "i have spotted an enemy machine gunner in you AO" playing over and over again)

Also making a return from Bad Company 2 are the sensor *****.
