Off the top of my head, things that SHOULD be explained: Inner Six, Inner Baltar, Sam's fate, Hera's fate, wtf Kara is now, the importance of "Watchtower", finding a new home, resolution to the Cylon Civil War, Roslin and Adama romance, the Opera House.. what'd I miss?

What's really sad is that there were rumors floating around late last week that proved nothing more than idle speculation but if they were true, that woulda been a damn good way to end the series and would have tied up some things very nicely. Saturday night I'll post them so we can compare/contrast what actually happened.

sweet. I hope this show ends well. I'm sure it'll end better than buffy and the x-files.

I actually think the way Buffy and X-Files were handled were fantastic.
For Buffy the question of what next and her smiling just spoke to the optimistic nature of the show. Mulder and Scully together in the bed showed them finding comfort for a brief moment after having to give up their son to keep him safe.

I think poor sam will end up being the hybrid on the ship
I think they will get Hera back at the end to her parents
kara....think they showed us last week, that's she WAS 1/2 cylon before she got all crispy. Have no answer as to what the ressurected kara is. watchtower is linked to kara's father (daniel).
I dont think they will find a new home, it will just end with them contuining their search
resolution to cylon civil war, I think cavil and his cronnies will be destroyed
Roslin will die and adama will lead the cylons/humans towards a home.

Ah but Ron made it a point in the commentary to say that Daniel is NOT Kara's father. So that throws that out the window. Of course he could be lying.

I haven't heard of Moore saying anything about it, but I don't think it's their conscience, Baltar's Six knows stuff that he doesn't know. If he is a Cylon it could be a thought projection.

My GF had to go out of state with her parents this weekend, so I'm recording it for her. I told her I would wait, but she replied "YEAH RIGHT!" so I took that as permission. I'm so pumped for tonight!!!! I got nervous watching the "Last Frakkin' Special" when it showed Moore nervous about how to deal with the last episode. He couldn't come up with a good plot/resolution. He then came up with "It's about the characters stupid!" I love the characters of this show, but he has to have a great plot and resolution so the characters have something to work with.
This story has to get resolved. I will be pissed if they end with them still trying to find a home.

Yeah, RDM said Daniel wasn't even supposed to be a big deal. They just wanted to explain what happened to the missing Cylon, and wanted to emphasize the schism between Cavill and Ellen and why Cavill is so evil.

But why are there 13 Cylons now, instead of the original 12? That 'extra' has to have SOME importance, doesn't it??? Arg, I hate this. I can't wait for tonight.
And it BETTER NOT BE SOME BULL$#!& time-travel / parallel universe / something to do with the black hole!!!! I will be so pissed if all they do is jump through the black hole back in time, destined to just repeat the same stuff over and over again without knowing it
