One big thing I was always looking forward to is coming to an End. One if the best, if not the best, Sci Fi series is ending.

I don't know what they were thinking changing the network to this:

Pronounced "siffy"? They actually said they want to distance themselves from the adolescent nerd boys who are the mainstay of the network and show that they are also fantasy, occult etc. and not just SciFi.

They should take the best parts of G4 and put them on Sci-Fi (soon to be SyFy) and then get rid of G4. So that'd be adding X-Play and Attack of the Show (add standards)

I don't mind the name change, it's just a name after all. I'm actually looking forward to the new, varied content promised with this bold, slightly silly name alteration.

To be honest, I don't watch anything on SciFi except for BSG, so new shows from different genres could work to keep my attention post-BSG. However, I will be coming back for Caprica.

Not to derail the thread any more - but they plan to launch Siffy with the premiere of Warehouse 13, which is a new series from Rockne O'Bannon who was showrunner on Farscape. Plus they'll have Caprica. And Eureka was a good series too - not sure if it's coming back. But I don't watch SciFi much myself.

Watched the special, really go me stoked for the last episode. R D Moore is the man and Michael Rymer directing the last episode, sweet.

Completely diffirent haircuts in the mini-series, espeacially Adamas. Hot Dog is his son, never realised that the credits are always too fast.

Anybody get the new TV Guide? there's 2 seperate covers. One has Starbuck,Six,Baltar and the other cover has Adama and Madam President. I got the Adama cover cause hes my favorite character.

Last episode and I predict very few answers. Ron Moore apparently freaked out saying Daniel is NOT Kara's father and once Cavil boxed his line that was it. No lone survivors. It was in the podcast/commentary to, I believe, Islanded in a Sea of Stars.

well Ron said in tv guide that he's checked all the fan and forum sites for BSG and nobody got the ending right. He said he's happy that no one has a clue what's going on. They said it'll blow your frakking mind.

But if there are too few answers, it won't matter to me how mind blowing the ending is. What I liked about his work on Trek was that the finales gave a nice sense of closure with the door still ajar. With this I think we will still be asking questions even after Caprica has come and gone.
