As for Galactica being the dying leader; Weak sauce.(if true)

I think it's kinda poetic in a way. The ship is a very real character at this point, just look at how sad we got when she was toasted :monkey2

Sounds like the prophets from the book of Pion sat at the feet of Nostrodamus.
Write cryptic mumbojumbo so it can be interpreted a million different ways so historians cant say he was wrong.

Isn't this how ALL prophets and prophecies are? They can be construed in a million different ways depending on your viewpoint. I doubt the ending will be as clear as people would like to be - letting people decide for themselves. Many will b^^tch and moan about that, but I could get on board, as long as it's done well!

It's the beginning of the last week. I'm already in mourning :monkey2

I will be toasting BSG for St. Patty's tomorrow :duff

Who's watching the Last Frakkin' Special tonight?

I love the series and hope it all comes out as a giant box set with something cool in it. But I hope the last episode has something that first drew me into the show: Epic and realistic space battles. Galactica jumping into the atmosphere was the BEST scene ever. Someone in the office calls it Dramastar Galactica now...

I think it will jump into the colony thing and either Kara or Anders will fly it into the colony so that everyone can escape after they get Hera back from Cavill.

But does anyone else have an explaination for the Harbringer of Death thing that is following Kara round??

I have a feeling that the ending is gonna leave a lot of unanswered questions and it might actually not be the best ending. There are tons of questions.

Like who is Kara's father? Is he a Daniel that got away?

Is Kara a cylon or human? How did she get ressurected if whether she is a cylon or not?

Is Baltar a human or a cylon? Or did he get resurrected as either one? Cause sure as ^^^^ should have been dead after the nuke blast on Caprica.

Is there human resurrection?

Tons of questions and only 2 hours to answer a ^^^^ ton fo them!!

Hopefully it turns out awesome and end like a show of this magnitude does!!

Can't wait for tonight.

I'm thinking this may be the explanation.

Really looking forward to seeing the final, a lack of battle from the start of the 4.5 i assume means all the moneys been saved up for the epic battle.

Galactica still got nukes yeah, i remember them being pointed at the algae planet and that there should only be 5.

Because all the copies of Daniel died might mean that the original Daniel is still alive and so could be Starbucks father.

Had this thoery from the mini-series that where the cylons went after the first war might somehow being Earth but looks like that ones a big no.

Did anyone see that the planet boomer jumped to afer kiddnapping Hera could be Jupiter, saw the storm which has been going on for thousands of years i think.

Last episode never explain what was happening to Adama, was that him being told the the Galactica is going to be turned in a museum and poor Roslin, talk about having alot of bad stuff happening during ones life.

exactly....and i think all of these qualities are what make the show stand out from other Sci Fi shows. it is just as much drama as it is Sci Fi.

Yeah pulling off that New Caprica atmosphere jump to rescue everyone put Adama in James T. Kirk territory. (But he still cries too much)
How bout this prediction: The Galactica will be reborn like Starbucks viper!!!......nah, prolly not.

Oh yeah, you know it!!

Dang Dusty, this is like the most active I've seen you since joining SSF. You must REALLY like BSG.

:rock

Yeah, love it so much! I've just been avoiding this thread up to now because I had to catch up.

I miss the space battles too, Q, but I understand why they need the drama and character-heavy episodes too. I'm sure this last one won't disappoint in the space battle territory!

so does anyone know if the last episode will be longer than the usual one hour?? for some reason it feels that its going to be rushed in the normal one hour slot.

Did anyone watch the show that was on last night??!! I completely forgot about it!! Argh!!

Also, just a news tidbit, SciFi will be changing their name to SyFy on July 7. WTF??!!

Yeah, I watched it. It was nice. Nothing new revealed, but it was a nice goodbye - I almost cried :horror

I heard that about Sci-Fi... no kidding WTF? That's got to be the stupidest thing ever. Why on earth would they mess with something as easy and classic as SciFi??? Did they all of a sudden get bought out by a hip-hop kid??

I forgot about the special too. Hopefully it'll be on again.

I don't know what they were thinking changing the network to this:

:monkey4

Haha, that's weird as hell. WTF guys??!! That looks retarded!!

Cause when I see Sci-Fi, I think of those aweosme commercials and all the cool shows. That new symbol looks stupid as hell.
