What amazes me is how they can make mistakes like that even with access to all the reference material they need from Luca$film. Don't they have final approval on every licensed product that gets made?

SSC needs to get with the detail program, there seems to be too many cracks in the process there. The Legacy Connery was all about that white tux jacket and they got that wrong too. Lapels rounded.

They must be suffering from "collar-ia".

We appreciate the facts, Kev. I think Spartan Rex had his tongue in cheek with the "fibber" comment.

I'm sure that it's a little more involved to take a whole new set of pictures than most board members realize.

Prog, have you looked at your Luke lately? Of all the SW he is the plainest. Besides the fact that he was the first run of the very first figure in the SW line. You can't bring Jedi Luke into this argument at all.

Fact is Bespin Luke rests right at where the average figure's MSRP has been set. Its clear that when there are price increases the reasons are obviously due more to inreased intricacy or an increase in accessories or both. I don't see how you can deny that.

I don't think Luke is the plainest. Nor Obi-Wan or Mace which were $49.99.

The plainest figures are probably Luke Ceremonial and ANH Leia...which are...$54.99.

I agree that there are increases with intricacy such as Plo Kloon for $59.99. But the new base price appears to me to be $55 when it used to be $50.

I will be very surprised if we ever see a standard size SW figure at $50 again.

I agree that the clothes shouldn't be baggy. But do you really want to see tight clothing around the Art S Buck body?

I'll take a slight interpretation of the costume than something as awful and unnatural looking as the ESB Han's arms in his tight jacket.

Personally, I think if SSC knows of the change and still didn't have time to swith the outfits for sake of pictures then they need to post a footnote and say "collar will be changed".

Why not do that? You guys know we are picky as hell. It'll save you guys a lot of grief and criticism too if you only let people know whats going on.
