You seem like a lazy collector type. You dont want the hassle, yet you want to collect things. Maybe youre confused and stumbled into the wrong hobby.

Uh....okay thanks for the ****ysis....:lol

Let me tell you who I am instead of you trying to guess...

I collect 1/6 scale toys because they are fun and cool and I like to display them in my homemade dioramas.

Now let me tell you what I am not....

I am not someone who has stumbled into a hobby to make myself feel different or better than someone who doesn't have the same items. Anyone who does that may have found themselves in the right hobby for the wrong reasons.

Edit thats: "A N A L Y S I S" that got censored. LOL

You don't like lembas bread? That stuff is the bomb--toasted and covered with a fresh trout...:monkey5

I see your point... but I hold out hope that the Exc. will soon be as exciting as they once were (Jango head, orc head...etc) in ALL of the 1:6 lines.

I hope so.

What was the worst exclusive of all time?

My vote: Jabba's cup. :D

This is a unique case though -- an exclusive ordered AFTER the con. Like the Hobbits. I'm just curious if the edition sizes mentioned on PO day are the amount alloted for non-attendees, NOT including the few hundred preordered at the con.

No, I thought Leia or Bib was ordered post con. So they would have been the same. I'm pretty sure if I understand what was said is that the TOTAL is listed counts orders taken pre and post con.

Josh, I agree with you on lots, but I have to go against ya on the convention attendee issue. Convention trips gotta run at least $1000, and if you're a serious collector, that's a lot of merchandise you can't afford and with an average income, money can be real tight.

Depends on if you get the Con rate, how many roomies you get, and etc. SDCC this year just room and flight are gonna cost me around $450 or so. Now, you go tossing in exclusives and yes I hit near 1k dollars. So I've spent a lot of money items to the show that NA can order as well and stay home for free and enjoy the "same" show. It does make things tight I can attest to that as fact.

I think convention goers are lucky to go to the con, that should be reward enough, but the privilege of just walking up and ordering something that everyeone else is left to fight for is a sucky deal, at least last year with Jabba and Salacious, they were inclusive so there was no competition.

Going to the Con is awesome! I love every minute of it but part of the draw is seeing friends, freaks, and SS staffers then getting a chance to order the stuff I'm looking at. It's a perk for spending that money to go out there. I mean if I'm spending 1k dollars to go out there and a NA is not. Yet, we both get the same chance at show exclusives how is that fair? It's not.

It does not hurt the NA in anyway because there's a darn good chance that those of us going would still get ours compared to some NA when the PPO happened. Jabba and Salacious where Inclusive but Leia, Bib and some other stuff was not. People still got those items when they went up AND can still get them now on second chance, WL, ebay (cheaper by the way). So I don't see where NA are getting screwed.

I stick by if I pay 1k to go to a convention its more than fair that I get to order something before someone staying home and enjoying the show for free.

Hmmm, Jabba's cup is a pretty good choice for worst exclusive. However I'm going to have to go with the generic gun with the boushh exclusive.

And I knew there was a reason I didn't have a problem with this last year. It was the Inclusive Edition scenario. I just couldn't think of it last night!! D'oh!!!!

I'm pretty positive People were able to order Leia last year... didn't make a big difference even though she was exclusive.

And made even less/ of an impact this year. Bespin Luke was available for an hour and a half... can't blame Sideshow if you missed out on this one.

And about the edition size of of exclusives; if it is set at 1980 that would have include SDCC orders and PPO orders if it didn't then the edition size would be larger. And I'm a bit surprised people were calling for that to be the case... 1980 is a pretty good sized run IMO.

I guess that's true...I thought those were inclusives too. Anyway, whatever. I don't want to beat this to death when I don't really care about the whole ES thing anyway.

right, and I bet you believe yourself to be a "true collector" and abide by the rebelscum collector's code too :lol

Oh yeah...Leia and Bib were there too. Kind of hard to remember when the shadow of Jabba was cast over everything!!! :lol

I do not remember for sure if I was able to order Leia and Bin at CC last year. But I know they were on the same order for me.

I would have to say the worst exclusive would be the Battle Droid head. It didn't have any relation to the character. It was just too random.

As for the best? Can't say because there were so many cool ones.

Yeah, Jabba was the shiznit of the year... and sits next to me as I type.

I really think that Sideshow is very committed to their fans and would not make production decisions that would exclude huge amounts of people. I remember being a bit put-out last year about the early ordering for Con attendees... but in reality Sideshow is there to sell stuff, so make sense that attendees will get a crack at it while there.

And so far **knocks on wood** it hasn't caused us NA's any issues.

Not sure what the collector code is on Rebelscum. Fill me in. I do consider myself someone who collects things he actually likes and wishes others did the same.

Are you different from that? Or are you too ashamed to say?

And you shouldn't make guesses at what type of collector people are because you are really bad at it.

Mynock has a magnet!

Okay, Mr Scientist... didn't know the ability to attract metal would be that powerful  But just so we can still be friends I'd put him at number 2 :lol

And SithLord, you so crazy... Kit was chopping up battle droids left in right in AOTC... I know its a bad movie, but the big battle scenes were good.

I think Chavez just cut me off in traffic...

... the car featured a "Sideshow Raped My Childhood" bumper sticker.
