Dose anyone know how much weight you can put on top of a Besta? I have a single besta tower and I want to put my Sideshow War Machine Bust on top but it's pretty heavy.

They only give you the suggested max. shelf weight.
The units are very sturdy though. I have a 2x2 unit, on legs, which had a CM Pred on it for a while and that is one heavy beast.

I would have no hesitation putting 50 to 80 lbs on top of a Besta unit, so long as the weight is properly distributed. YMMV.

Just wondering, what BESTA color shelves do you guys like to display your figures on?

Black/dark background, white background, or birch or brown background colors?

That's really a tough call. I chose black/brown over white, but its really everyone's opinion. My cabinets are hung on the wall around my tv so I didn't want the bright white drawing too much attention from the tv. Plus I'm a predominantly Batman collector and he has to be in a bottom lit dark cabinet because Batman.

Oops, didn't see that thread, my apologies.

For those who have the DIODER 4-LED strips, how did you install those on your BESTAs (placement-wise), and where did you hide the wires?

Mask the wire in black tape and clip wire in place. Drill hole in back panel.

^^^ Thanks Collectorcol! Did you put just 1 LED strip in each shelf/unit? I have primarily a 1/6 collection and I'm playing around with how many figures I can display nicely in each unit so I'm trying to plan out how many LEDs and extra shelves I will need. Do you have a picture of your collection or know what page it is on?

Your Bad Taste Bears collection is EPIC. Your bestas look great but my eyes kept wandering to the bears.
