Anybody have the part number for the 1x3 Vassbo door in Black/Brown? I'm going to go try to find one this weekend and need the number since it doesn't show up in Ikea's webpage anymore
With glass panels? They dont make them anymore, not in the U.K anyway.
I would love one.

Yep the ones with glass and they don't make them in the US either. I saw them a couple months ago in the pick up area collecting dust trying to clean out inventory while I was picking up other shelves and I'm hoping they might be there again. I'm just hoping to go armed with a part number.

You can make your own by modding a VARA door:

The modded Vara is nice. I already have 3 individual Vassbo's I was just going to try and see if I could get my hands on the long one so it will be easier to move shelves. The hinges for the individual ones get in the way of moving the shelves.

Yup...too many hinges is a pain.

I wonder if you could grab some flat metal braces from home depot, join a few Vassbo doors together (on the back side), and then eliminate some of the hinges.

That's a good idea. I think I will have to try that out if I strikeout at Ikea!

I picked up the long Vassbo door at ikea yesterday for a new Besta I just purchased. I didn't even know it existed until I saw it in the pick up aisle. I'll post pics when I get the new cabinet out together.

That one is very nice. I wish my IKEA had that long one but the largest Vassbo door is the one for one BESTA unit.

I'm having trouble keeping the doors level with the shelves. They keep angling downwards on the side away from the hinges, I'm assuming due to the weight and lack of supports on that side. Does anyone know of an effective fix to keep that from happening and to keep the doors level with the shelves? Thanks in advance!

If you tighten up the hinge mechanism itself, that should help straighten it a bit but I don't know that you'll get it to sit completely flush.

Play around. The hinges are fully adjustable.

What he said. Those Blum cabinet hinges are adjustable 3 ways - instructions should have been included with the package. To adjust the left/right tilt (as viewed form the front when the doors are closed) you will adjust the top hinge in the opposite direction as the bottom. One of them will be adjusted to pull the hinge closer to the side of the cabinet and the other away. I just can't remember which screw adjusts that property (I've got a really bad hang-over). ;) The other one pushed and pulls the hinge in/out of the cabinet which adjusts the gap between the door and the cabinet frame.

I tried loosening all the screws on the hinges and pushing the door and hinge up as much as I could and then screwing it on tight, and it's still drooping. I'm annoyed that the shelf that is showing looks slanted due to the slanted door. I took some pics. Let me look at the instructions again about the adjusting part. I'll provide an update later. Thanks!

You don't need to touch the door at all when making the adjustments. Just turning the screw is enough. It's only the FRONT MOST screw you will need to adjust.

You will turn the screw for the TOP hinge clockwise and the one for the bottom hinge COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. That will move the position of the hinge on the top to the left (outside) and the hinge at the bottom to the right (inside) - which will tilt your door the way you want to align it with the cabinet.
