Beta Site re-design comment thread

OK, let me re-phase my earlier post... the site maintenance will be the Beta Site going live sometime today!

I forgot all about the maintenance today.

Having some problems in Safari/Mac OS X: Could not execute SQL statement ... maybe invalid? at (eval 22) line 24.

The site loads fine with the beta URL, but not with the direct address.

Works fine in Firefox.

In firefox I couldn't get the movies to go into fullscreen

Other than that the site looks okay to me. Ofcourse it will be getting used to.

Same here. Maybe once I get used to the new one I'll like it, but so far I like the old one.

Maybe I am late, but the old site seems to be gone now. So the new site is all we will see now. Its not bad, but the order pages are still too plain and confusing, most of the text is either the same font or color and hard to distinct certain things on the order page at times.

Also I do not like the home page for my account anymore. It was nicer when the reward points were on the same page and it felt more organized to have it all on one page. But now you have to view your RP statement to view them.

When I first heard about Sideshow, I thought their web site was poorly designed and difficult to navigate. It was especially frustrating finding a great product when clicking on the category page only to find it is sold out. It looked to me that they were more interested in showcasing product you couldn't buy rather than product you could.

I love this new design and hope newbs find it more user-friendly, I know I do.
