Well, I do hope you are right about this! Just feeling paranoid lately I suppose! It doesn't help that I missed out/ been slow to the trigger on a few great customs lately, but I guess that's how the game is played.

I feel your pain brother. The agony scorches the heart and pierces the soul.

I talked to him not long ago and he confirmed me that this will be a run of 10.

I know he has done more in the past of other figures. He just did 15 of the Freddy's Revenge. Why would he not consider doing more of this piece based on the ridiculous response it's getting. Is it because he has limited resources because it's a two person show? Or he just likes to keep things that exclusive? I mean right now he could get MINIMALLY 30 confirmed orders.

i get the impression beto does it for the love of the figs rather than the money. going beyond 10 figs maybe makes it more like business than he likes. maybe 10 is the limit because more than that and building each one gets boring. either way, it's his choice. i think as a new guy you'll probably quickly learn you have to respect the way these guys choose to do things. and that you may not get every figure

Plus we need to take into consideration the work that goes into each figure. Beto and Lupita are perfectionist. Time that goes into sculpting and tailoring is tremendous. Yeah, he probably can easily cast 30+ heads, but then you have to consider the time to paint each sculpt to end up with the high quality he always delivers. Look how long since this annoucement was made and we still don't have a full figure completed just yet, and this is for just 10. Imagine if they had to do 30. Run of 10 has usually always been their limit unless they felt the could squeeze a few more in. Plus getting to the next figures would take much longer.

Thanks for the advice broski . Although I just started posting, I've been lurking since the end of last year and I've read a lot so I do know a thing or two about a thing or two And please know that I absolutely respect every artist not only for their work, but for whatever method, rhyme or reason they chose to offer it to us. Just throwing that out there in case I somehow came across differently.

The demand is certainly high on this custom! I hope not too many fellow collectors and Betofanatics won't be too disappointed!

Based on the 50 interested and 10 up for grabs ratio, I'd say there's gonna be a few broken hearts
