I don't know, that trailer makes it a little more interesting for me, the last game was bad enough to give this one a chance.

Really cool seeing the Robert Doiseneau, Abbey Road et all reimagined but I'm still not convinced about the Robots.

I'll definitely play it though cause it's original and I'm a sucker for WWII. Almost bought the Saboteur too.

It's kind of original, I mean, how many times have we seen an "elseworlds/what if" reality when the Nazi won in video games?>

The execution though, doesn't do a good job in keeping me very interested.

Release date is May 20th (for NA)

You can pre-order now.

Also, you'll get an access code to the beta for the upcoming Doom game.

I’ve just pre-ordered Wolfenstein, where’s my DOOM beta key?
An insert will be included inside your boxed copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order. This insert will include a key code along with code redemption instructions. Once the key code is redeemed, you’ll be registered to participate in the DOOM beta once it begins. Check back at wolfenstein.com/doom for updated information.

What is the release date of Wolfenstein: The New Order?
Wolfenstein: The New Order will be available on May 20, 2014 in North America and May 23, 2014 in Europe for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

How do I redeem my code?
Once you’ve received your boxed copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order, simply return to wolfenstein.com/doom and follow the code redemption instructions located on the enclosed DOOM beta insert. Once you enter your code you will be asked to provide a valid email address. We'll contact you at a later date through the email address provided with further instructions on the DOOM beta.

Do I need to specify what platform I want to play the DOOM beta?

Prior to the start of the DOOM beta, you will be contacted at the email address provided during the code redemption process. At that time, we will provide additional information on timing, available options, and other important news and information. Beta timing and platform options are subject to Bethesda Softworks’ discretion.

What is the DOOM beta? How long will it last?
We will be providing more information on the specific content and duration of the beta test at a later time.

When does the DOOM beta start?
Although you’ll receive the DOOM beta key code with your copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order, the DOOM beta won’t begin until a later, yet-to-be announced date. We will contact you with news and updates surrounding the start of the DOOM beta via the email address provided during the key code redemption process.

Will there be an Open Beta for DOOM?
Timing and availability of future beta programs for DOOM is to be determined. The only current way to ensure access is through pre-ordering Wolfenstein: The New Order. We will be providing more information on additional beta tests, if any, at a later time.

Collector's Edition available for pre-order (doesn't include the game).

This collector's edition does not include a copy of the game. Keep your pre-order at your favorite retailer and we'll send you these goodies separately—this way we can ship these boxes worldwide and you're not stuck waiting for your game to come along with an oversized, expensively shipped box.

The Saboteur is actually a really awesome game. You should give it a chance, and I'm sure you can find it cheap. I bought it new 2 years ago for $10 so you should have no problem finding it for under $5.

This game is from the guy behind the Riddick and Darkness games, it's not going to be the generic shooter everyone predicts. I'm betting it'll be the sleeper hit of the year. Bummer about the collector's edition, I would've gotten that if the game was included.

Interesting decision they made with the collectors edition. Has any other studio done this?

^Don't get too excited, it's a "Doom beta", to be released at a yet unannounced date. I.E., they're selling air basically. My guess is it's being offered less as an incentive to the player and more as a way to light a fire under the husk of id that remains in their employee to finish the thing. Just another crappy business practice to go along with the gameless collector's edition. Zenimax is just awesome.

Could be.

Also, if it's a beta, does that mean it's multiplayer? It's kind of rare to see betas for single players these days.

I guess it must mean multiplayer. If so, I'm glad they're trying to do a decent multiplayer this time, Doom 3's was one of the first multiplayers that felt truly "tacked on".

I didn't play the last Wolf, but it's weird for this to not have MP, when RTCW had some of my favorite MP action ever.

But if it means a stronger SP, I won't object.
