Hey it was no last episode but then again what is. I loved Jimmy as Howard and that sign, loved the use of music, the fact that everyone is paranoid and Saul is becoming more and more Saul, the conversation Mike has with Kim, the tension of what might happen to her is really getting to me. And I loved the whole batcave thing, I love that this guy is just freaking out completely but he can’t show any emotion at all.

I thought it was a bit busy and zany to be honest.

Too much going on between Gus's batcave, Saul as Howard too...I didn't like it as much as previous episodes.

I had the same feeling watching it. I didn’t hate it but I didn’t think it was on par with the rest of the series.

Everyone finding out Jimmy is a cartel lawyer and giving him the stink eye was great.

Another decent but not great episode with a couple of concerns. While the whole sequence with Howard was entertaining, they are spending a lot of time on that subplot and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, hopefully it become more meaningful soon. Also the Gus and Lalo stories appear to be heading to something big but I hope it’s not as obvious as it seems.

Kim spent the episode in a tanktop so I'm happy.

I think this was the episode Bob Odenkirk had his heart attack.

Werner's plaque translates to 'With love...your boys.' A gift from his workers as a sign of grief.

This one thing gives Lalo more information about the Superlab.

The last 2 episodes have been slower but I've still enjoyed them a lot, it's clear it's all leading to something big regarding the Howard and Lalo plot lines, it's all so meticulous that I have to watch the episodes two times in a row and still look up some info online, for example I was a bit confused by Gus in Pollos and in the lab but after rewatching it again I think I get what it's leading to, him mentioning the spice curls immediatly triggered him because he pitched them to madrigal before, madrigal is a german company, his contructions workers were german, and Werner Zeigler has a widow in Germany, Lalo is aware of all this info, later Gus goes to the lab and as usual inspects everything, a bit weird but ok, he then does a "robotic" walk to the excavator and leaves the gun in the tires, I thought that perhaps him leaving the gun there was realizing Lalo can't "strike" now as he said so there's no reason to be paranoid but him checking the power cable, counting his steps, he knows Lalo is digging up info on the lab, he knows he will find it, he wants Lalo to go there, right into his trap, lights out, bam, perhaps the famous theory that Lalo is buried under the lab may prove to be correct!

Overall I just love how this season is really show and don't tell and forces you to think and remember certain details that will fly right over your head if you haven't rewatched the show, the Howard scheme is certainly getting more interesting because it's clear now it's not as straightforward as we might think, whatever Jimmy and Kim have planned is even more complex than we imagine and it was great to see Lalo back I hope he has more to do this season but I'm not counting on it.

Excited for the final two episodes from this first half but bummed out that we have to wait a few months for the rest of the season, hopefully they don't leave us with a big cliffhanger.

Oh god only one more episode and then a long break?? I can’t stand it. Another decent episode directed by Moff Gideon himself who doesn’t even appear in the episode. I brilliant opening that admittedly took me a minute to cotton on to what was going on and speaks volumes to Kim’s character, an amazing scene with Lalo, a truly amazing scene with Mike and ends with a heartbreaking moment that initially feels like an older episode where Jimmy had coerced Kim into doing something for him but seems to really be making a bolder statement about Kim instead?

I'm feeling really worried about Kim, sucks to see her going down this dark path when she obviously wants to do good but it's what makes the show so great, I was surprised we only got a bit of Lalo this episode so I have a feeling his storyline will bleed into the second half of the season, surprisingly the most intriguing part of the episode for me was seeing Howard's wife and feeling how loveless their marriage is adds another layer to Howard's character, next episode looks to be chaotic as well with Jimmy and Kim's plan going tits up right at the end of this episode so it's going to be a nail biter for sure, I hope we're left with no cliffhangers but if we are at least the wait for the second half won't be a long one!

I get the sense that Lalo's and Gus' threads will be what really propel the story forward this season, so they have to be held back in order to let the other threads catch up. Problem is this holding back feels a little forced. BCS has always been a slow burn, but I don't know that it's ever been this slow for six consecutive episodes.

Random fact: the dude in the forest played Colossus in both Deadpool movies.

I agree that these 6 episodes have been tough. It's taking its time longer than usual to get somewhere.

It's definitely dragging a bit compared to the other seasons, I guess it's because the other seasons had 10 episodes so they had to tie things up faster, that said I hope we're nearing the end of the Howard plot so we can start exploring what happens after it.

I think we get the end of the howard storyline this week. With a glimpse of where the Lalo/Gus story is going. I still say Lalo will be

killed by gus in the lab and then be buried there. I could also see Gilligan using that as a way to have Jesse and Walt appear. Showing them cooking in the lab over the area where Lalo's body is. Who knows?

Finally caught up after dropping in and out of the series over the years.

Two questions: Did the Howard scheme seem to come out of nowhere? And does he really deserve all that hate?

I think there's some underlying cause for the extreme hate Kim has for Howard. Even Jimmy tried to call off the scheme a couple of times. I don't think Howard deserves any of this at this time and he might be the only good person on this show. That is unless something doesn't come to light this season. Personally, I don't think he survives the next episode.
