30 years ago? Huh?
Unless you mean 30 years from now. That would be 2042.
I doubt people will still "cherish" Nolan's Batman, whatever that is or means. It won't be long until it fades in obscurity and it gets trashed as new films and stories come along and perspective changes with time. It's pretty hilarious comparing a group of films that debuted 35 years ago to something that isn't even close to a decade old.
Batman in general though? The character and universe will last, without a doubt. Nolan was simply a caretaker/torch bearer to something much larger. Same goes for the other Batman film directors and writers, even Bob Kane. The character is much larger than any of their single incarnations.
I love you harder then king.
Nolan did do a masterful job in explaining the origin story of Batman. He tapped into the psyche of Bruce Wayne and explored his motivation for donning the "cowl". In that regards, Batman Begins was very unique, since it was something that had never been done as thorougly before on screen or in literature. I doubt that other film directors would want to re-explain Batman's origin, to the extent that it was done by Nolan.
Oh boy...
Well, I was only fooling with you. Sorry you took it the wrong way bro. We can agree to disagree then.
*extends hand to shake.
I took it no way.
