Group of salvagers hired to retrieve something of value from a derelict craft (space station) but in reality the black guy robot is sent from 'the company' to retrieve alien specimen.

Is that the plot?

Sigourney was only 29 when Alien was released, Veronica Cartwright 30, the age difference isn't that great. Andy Android is 31. I guess the intent though is they are playing younger people.

Yeah but Skerritt was 45, Stanton was 52, Hurt was 38, Holm was 47 and Kotto was 39 so that highlights two things, the average age was much higher than most other Alien films especially this one and that the original cast was much more diverse in age.

I’ve been searching online and there’s hardly any product tie ins for the move.
No books, magazines and the only figures are Funko-pops, shudder!

They probably got burned with Prometheus and Covenant, so they will wait and see how the movie does before launching into any merch. If there's one thing about Alien merch is that it has longevity.

Yeah, you’re probably right man.

But I want it now! It’s been over a year since I bought an Alien figure, and I’m Jonesing bad! 🫨

I would think there's precisely zero chance of any human figures. It would have to be a massive success, and irrespective of the movie's qualities, it seems to me that people are hungry for new(er) stuff. Look at TGM's success, as well as Dune and now Twister. Granted, only Dune qualifies as new (sort of), but the Alien franchise has been way more prolific than Twister and Top Gun :lol

Oh I agree. Just saying if in that 0.00000001 percentage chance it happens I will be furious. HT are renowned for whack announcements.

Remember back in the day when hot toys teased the human figures from predators? Good times lol
