It's been a year since it was put up for order I have high hopes for this one
I just hope the promised improvements in paint apps actually rings true whenever it does end up shipping. I can handle the waiting, just as long as the final product is actually worth it in the end. Here's hoping...

So I decide to cancel this after paying it off(just wanting to get out of most 1/6 and really dissatisfied with their tardis handling) and these *******s not only keep the NRD, but only refunded me at the current exchange rate and not what I paid in dollars
I'm sorry but we do not reimburse customers as a result of the circumstances related to the current fall in the pound sterling as we would not expect customer to reimburse Big Chief for losses as the result of our company losses against costs result from the rise in the dollar. Our manufacturing costs are all in dollars and we would not expect our customer to subsidise for these company costs. We just have to take the losses it's a figment of international trade. The currencies of all the countries we trade with are continually fluctuating. regards Terry
Well, NRD does stand for "non-refundable deposit", emphasis on the non-refundable... Rarely does a company actually refund the NRD as well.
As far as the exchange rate, BCS was paid in GBP, not in USD. The dollar amount you paid was based on the exchange rate. So it makes perfect sense they'd refund you based on the GBP they received, not the USD you paid. For example, if an international customer buys something from you in USD and wants a refund, you'd offer the refund in USD, not based on whatever he/she paid after currency conversion. It sucks when you have to deal with fluctuating currencies, but that's the nature of international purchases.
I'm holding onto my order, but I'm not exactly optimistic about what the final product is going to look like. And I'm now starting to worry about what they might do to that beautiful Clara sculpt as well...
While Dr. Who really clicked with me starting with 10 (I suppose I'm a nuwho heathen in that regard), I sort of feel like I should complete the four new doctors just to have a complete set. But, I can't see 9 selling out anytime soon, especially if the excellent 11 and 12 are both significantly discounted now, which is what I would prefer to wait for with 9.
What is the last figure BC released and when was it? At this point I think they are just going to forget everything else and focus on Bond. That means forget Clara, Captain Jack, and forget Penny Dreadful and the other lines. This company has way too many irons in the fire for it's size.
I'm inclined to agree.
