Wow, really happy with the final results! Can't wait for him!

Yeah that does look really good. The coat unfortunately seems to be missing any of the nice weathering of the prototype (or any weathering at all), but I guess I can just add that myself. Thankfully the head looks really good again, which is the most important part.

Looks on par with series 7b 11, which I argue is their high point still. Looks good but I'll wait for a discount, if I bite at all.

Looks ok. Paint app still looks a little flat. It looks a small step up in improvement over the previous 10/11 drs. Ill wait for in hand pics.

Yeah there is a certain cragginess to his features that seems to be missing now in this latest paint job. Although thankfully he doesn't appear to be as desperately in need of a repaint as the Series 4 Tennant.

Now that they have achieved this, they must now push it further and keep improving. This has pushed them past Sideshow and Threezero for apps.

Paint app isn't great. But it's not a deal breaker for me.

The lighting looks very different on the newer pics versus the older pics, so I'm not sure about comparing the paint jobs just yet. I feel like I'll know better in person. But I'm happy with the translation over all. It does seem like the lovely weathering (which was one of my most-wanted aspects of the figure to be honest.... loved that his coat was sort of beat up) is pretty much gone, unless that's masked by lighting too. I seem to remember one coat in process where it looked good? But maybe I'm thinking of a proto pic.

Pretty much. In terms of paint apps it's like Sideshow but worse.
But eh, at least the sculpts are almost always good.

Still stating 30th November so hopefully shipping out by the weekend.
To see it before Christmas I need that to happen. If my dad receives it next week, he can ship it out, and it'll arrive before my holiday.

Youll be lucky to see him shipped 2nd week of december. BCS havent even got him back yet. Theyve said he will be sent from china via air freight instead of by sea.

BCS has had a lot of factory problems with this. The factory messed up the paint apps on the hair so BCS is making them do it again. Since it didn't match the prototype the factory is taking the hit.

Normally these are sent to BCS by boat (and were supposed to be received in the warehouse November 30). But since the factory made the mistake they are airlifting them to BCS and they should be in customer hands before Christmas.

For goodness sake, give them a break. They are doing the best they can to get a fabulous figure out before the holidays. The final production version looks great to me, taking poor photo lighting into account. I think many will be surprised and delighted by the vial result.
