At least the shipping is fast. The figure usually arrives to me here in Canada the next day so you get what you pay for, I guess.

I actually don't mind the shipping costs because usually it is amazing to get them so quickly. I can't imagine going a slower way would shave much off due to the box size, to be honest. I just don't want to drop the $60 right before the holidays. But I would!

So weird that!! I remember when I was waiting for my eleventh Doctor to be delivered, people the other side of the world had theirs, yet me (who lives about 30 miles from BCS) was still waiting for him to show up!

The $30 shipping is bonkers. I always have to question SSC when I pay $20 to send my package only halfway across the US. I suppose that's the equivalent of UK people paying the $30 to send locally, yeah? Or is is cheaper for you?

Personally I'd be more than willing to wait another week if it could knock 10-15 bucks off the shipping cost. Not like we haven't waited forever for this figure anyway.

You don't have to pay shipping right away. You can wait a little if you are short on money. I once did not want it shipped when I knew I was on vacation, so I waited a few weeks till after that.
I remember with the first Tennant as he was sold out they gave a final day until to pay and then it would go back into the pool for people who couldn't get one.I don't remember if they did the same with the other figures?

EDIT - actually, I take that back. Looking over the figure and the info they sent, most of the accessories I received were placeholders because the final versions weren't ready. That was about two weeks ago.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply I didn't have him yet - I do. Got him a couple weeks ago along with Moriarity. I've been waiting to do the review closer to the release, and the 9th Doctor doesn't have all his final accessories. However, I did hear from BG today, and they said he should be shipping within the next two weeks to retailers.
