Ok, so I messed with the colors a bit, but this is so Hartnell.

And it's still in the box when I took the pic.

I wonder how many more Hartnell's are left? Big Chief did state on Twitter that there was only a small amount left in stock. I hope it sells out; it would be promising for the other classic Doctors then

Just got an invoice from FedEx for customs and duties for this figure. In all my time in ordering from overseas I've never ever had to pay custom fees. Is this a new thing for shipments from UK to US?

Not Fedex but last month UPS charged me customs on two shipments from Canada which I've never seen before in the past ~10 years.

I got charged on one from customs once. They saw "doctor" on the box and called me asking what kind of medical materials were being shipped. I was like, really?

Hope this uploads (and people like it), I threw this together earlier today by way of teaching myself how to use the latest version of iMovie:

Ah, it's great to be back. Because of my OCD I've been unable to post about Big Chief stuff for the last nine months, which has been torture. I even had to sell off my figures!!!! (luckily Ten and Eleven are owned by my kid, or we would have had nothing left). I've been in and out of other sections, but nothing beats the charm of BCS figures. Now to catch up, starting with Hartnell - an AMAZING figure, pure quality all the way.

^ Nice unboxing video. Unfortunately for me this is still more of a "would like to have" figure than a "must have". And after already paying for the new Tenth and Twelfth Doctors (and soon the Ninth), I just don't see myself being able to squeeze any more in.

To quote Paddy Power, 'I hear you, davejames!' But if you do have the money it is just brilliant. The texture on the skin and the paint job look amazingly lifelike and the clothing - in particular the waistcoat - are spot on.

Nice video! :exactly: This is such a fantastic figure - my favourite BCS Doctor Who figure (well so far anyway!)

Hartnell is a fabulous figure. The detailing in the costume is outstanding even the parts that are hidden (where normally corners are cut) and the paint app is a work of art, so detailed with the skin, wrinkles & aging. Big Chiefs best work to date

Yep. The 4th Doctor was a bit of a let down but Hartnell is an amazing improvement. The only complaint I have with it is the skin colour on the hands doesn't match the older of the face but it's not too noticeable. Other than that you couldn't ask for a better 1st Doctor.

I think there is a good chance of Troughton in 1:6 form. The one I really want to see, but will expect the line to end first, is McCoy.

I really hope it doesn't end anytime soon. Still though Hartnell hasn't yet sold out despite the quality of the figure; although I did read that it was getting close to sold out?

Hi guys!
I'm new here as I just got hold of the Hartnell figure, my first ever 1:6! Absolutely amazing figure, the head sculpt is a work of master piece there's no doubting it. I'll be swapping him over to a Hot Toys body though as many have because he's a little on the loose side.
As an aside, I make models - I've done 1:13 and 1:6 Police Boxes and now have my own etsy store. I made a Barry Newberry Police Box for a member here - I'm not sure of his username but he's the guy with the several Tom figures all in custom outfits (and wonderful they are too!). I'll be building a 1:6 Hartnell console for myself too, watch this space ;)
Thanks
Jamie
