Think I'm going to write them about a couple of things on mine.

1. The button side of the shirt isn't cut straight, so it bows inward making it look off center
2. The vest snaps aren't tightly sewn in and the vest is cut so tight that they're exposed

Edit: On closer inspection, the thread on the snap is coming apart. They were helpful once before with a minor defect, so maybe I can get them replaced

Fantastic figure! So happy with this guy. Tight joints. Great tailoring. The only slight disappointment is the LED lighting execution on Handles. But he looks great not lit up.

I am so impressed with this figure as well as the Handles and Capaldi headsculpts!
I know I need to take better pics, but I had to snap a quick one of my 50th Anniversary crew as well as showing what I did with my Capaldi headsculpt.

The only QC nitpicks I had was that one of my pants button detail was missing. However, since they included extras of these and other buttons, that was no big deal. The other was that my Handles neck piece was detached and it won't stay on as a dry fit. Again, easy fix with a dab of glue. I'll need to go over the whole figure in more detail, but I'm really happy with it as is.

That setup is awesome, Vash! I won't get mine until tomorrow... It was a gift from my girlfriend and she signed for it this afternoon. I can't wait to get my other Doctors painted up so they can go by 11.

Got my Eleven today and compared with Four (the only other complete BCS figure I have) the quality is so much better and the value for money is so much higher. The detail on the back of his trousers is amazing, especially since I expect most people will display him with his coat on so it won't even be seen! The tailoring and the material they use for the clothing have both improved so much that I really hope they take another crack at Four, because now I think they could really do him justice.

The only slight quibbles I have...might not be quibbles actually, because they might just be how the clothing is designed. Could someone confirm if a) the two ends of the watch chain should be attached to the waistcoat (they aren't on mine) and b) do both back pockets have a button in the middle. On mine, the pocket on the left has two rivets and a button in the middle, the pocket on the right just has the two rivets. <--- edited to say I just saw VashDStampede's post and took another look under the plastic holder thing on the stand-side of the box and found all the extras buttons and stuff which pretty cool for them to include.

I'm not even that much of a fan of Eleven and I think it's a great figure. I wouldn't have bought it if it hadn't included the Capaldi head, but now that I finally have it in hand, I'm very glad I have it and now that Twelve's head has been put on an extra Tom body -- which is much better scale for him than for Tom -- I feel like I got two great figures for the price of one.

The new smiling head for the 4th Doctor really elevates that figure. With it the only real problem I have is the scarf and that's fixable.i would guess if Big Chief were to revisit the 4th Doctor they would do a series 18 version with a Davison head as a preorder exclusive.

duck of death - the chains just go into the pockets on his vest. They don't attach to anything.

Vash - I may be converting my 10th Doctor in spacesuit to that look. I need to do something with my Capaldi head.

Very happy with this guy.

Just for me personally, I have no interest at all in a series 18 figure. That's the one Tom figure I would definitely not buy. So for me, any series other than that with maybe a preference for series 16 or 17.

In terms of the Tom we do have, the smiling head (which I'm afraid doesn't do anything for me) doesn't change the coat being wrong and the awful scarf. The color of Tom's coat being off doesn't bother me all that much, but I wish the cut was better and that it wasn't made out of material that doesn't drape and where the nap wears off so easily. And of course the buttons which aren't really buttons that fall off if you look at them wrong. All of those things are vastly improved with the Eleven coat.

So seeing how much better made the Eleven clothes are really makes me hope they do another Tom from when he was at the top of his game (and had the classic scarf) and actually I'd be pretty disappointed if BCS used their upped-game to make a series 18 Tom when it represents such a small part of his run.

(Although if they did do a series 18 Tom, the extra really ought to be Adric's head. Just his head. You know, like the way they made Handles so the head can't be attached to a body.)

Great pics coming through.
Mine is in Birmingham. I think that is a starting point, but it's expected to arrive today.
The space suit pic above is exactly how I have mine set and ready (in Shanghai) for the Capaldi sculpt. (Vash, have you put the suit onto a new body? I used a HT TT and it feels pretty solid. Then I tested it with both the 10 and 11 sculpts).

Thanks Mudblood!
JonWes, you should definitely do it since it compliments the head well. As you can see, I didn't attach the "belt" section since it looks way better loose. I'll be adding a longer belt material soon to complete the look.

Yes, the new body I used is a Soldier Story 2.5 body. The gloves fit perfectly over the ball of the wrist peg. Even though I don't have a neck peg on, the head sits tightly over the rubber neck after removing the head's neck mount.

Love what you've done with the capaldi sculpt..:clap

Cool. I had to mod the wrist pegs to allow the gloves to suit the arms. I think the suit makes for a great Capaldi figure. He's used the suit twice now, and it seems to work on him.

This is just wonderful!! Love it!! :love

Well, mine was at Birmingham this morning, and... It's still there now. Says it will arrive late Friday. Cutting it fine.

Hope you get your figure in time!

For those who correspond via email with BCS, how long should I wait before emailing them again or trying to call? I sent yesterday around noon and haven't heard back. People on the BCS Facebook page seem to have their issues resolved with CS already.

Difficult to say because the speed at which they answer emails is so variable - I've always found them very quick to respond but I know other people have had different experiences. I would have thought 48 hours is the absolute maximum you should be expected to wait for a response from any company, and if they haven't got back to you by then, try them again.

I've been really enjoying this figure today, although I noticed the shirt thing people have mentioned - it kind of keeps opening between a couple of the buttons - and the right elbow has no tightness in it at all (making it almost impossible to pose him with his sonic screwdriver!) so keeps obeying the law of gravity and falling down. On the other hand the paint job and sculpt compared to the earlier release is fantastic, makes the first Eleven look like a zombie.
