If I were you I would buy the new version of the 10th Doctor, and keep your eyes peeled for and alternate head to go with him, such as the one coming out with the 9th.

That sounds like a good plan... I haven't heard about 9 or the alternate 10 head, is that something that comes with the 9 figure or will it be sold separately? Any pictures pictures (promo/prototypes) out yet?

Start shipping mid next week.

I was thinking of getting this but the sculpt looks too soft

I'm guessing it won't so much when we see something that's not so far away. At least from what I've seen of it. I was surprised how light the coat looks but I'm guessing that's just lighting.

I'm actually kinda curious to see what this figure might look like with the original Tennant head. Because while this sculpt might be a lot more detailed, ultimately I think I still prefer the hairstyle and more youthful look of the original.

I'm really excited to pose this figure. 10 was always a little more "action packed" than 11 (think of his little running leap over obstacles he does all the time) so he should be a nice dynamic contrast to the reserved pose for 11 I have right now.

I made my last payment and I'll do the shipping some time this weekend, probably. Which day do you think these will ship out?

I live in Puerto Rico (Island in the Caribbean) and whe I checked my shipping I almost fainted. My shipping is £34 which is $52 usd. I kind of knew it was gonna be a little high but damn. My Batman armory was $32 and that box is huge.

It is shipped and no tracking for me either. Will Fed-Ex leave the package at my door if I'm not at home?

With FedEx you have a couple options: You can leave a note taped to your front door stating: "FedEx. Okay to leave package" along with your name printed and signed." The option that I long since have adopted for all my FedEx deliveries is to have the package marked "hold for delivery" at my local FedEx facility. This way I almost always get it faster by picking up on my way home.
