Anyway, Gregg did explain, there, the reason for the difference, and it's all about making it so it can survive the molding process. Which seems okay to me as about .001% of people are probably going to notice the difference.

Just found out about these figures today. Anxious to preorder, but is anyone getting the signature editions? Not sure what to order. It looks like the Sherlock SE is sold out. Anyone have a suggestion for me? Will the preorders sell out for limited edition also? Help!!!

Yes, these WILL sell out in the end, given the global profile of Sherlock and the actors concerned. They've been on sale since October. The Tenth Doctor figure took four months to sell out, but now goes on ebay for three times the original price.
