I think it was at a trade fair (correct me if I am wrong, chaps) so presumably they were trying to generate distributor interest pretty early.

Is it time to repost those sightings photographs again?

There you go. LOL. :)

I can go better than that, I can show you a photo of the whole Sherlock piece (Watson seems to have gone AWOL temporarily), posted by BCS themselves on Facebook a few days ago! I have highlighted the relevant section, but here it is...

I wish I had saved all those sighting photographs. The best is the one in the forest if I recall.

These were the sightings that I had.

I think, on the basis of this sort of compelling evidence, that the Sherlock figure is real.

Reminds me of that "Sherlock is real/I believe in Moriarty" backlash after the end of the last series. It spawned some very funny pranks, like people standing outside Scotland Yard with a big banner demanding that Lestrade be reinstated.

We should at least know the future of these next month as Spring Fair Gift Show at the NEC in the UK is upon us once more. I would be very suprised if Big Chief did not attend as they are based very near.

So far, they do not appear on the list of attendees. Trying to find the right link now.

EDIT: Found it! BIG CHIEF STUDIOS not at N.E.C. Spring Fair (so far).

It's on page 8.

This to me is not a good sign.

Thats a shame if they are not, BUT I know that is a huge investment to have a stand at that trade fair, My honest opinion, dont think they really needed to be there, may of been better at the comic cons like LFCC for example.

I had one of the Matt Smith prototypes at my display at LFCC and it got a great reception, I just said to the people that was interested to order direct from BCS!

Sherlockology has just updated that filming of Season 3 will begin in March, with an estimated worldwide screening likely to be "later in 2013". However, with filming not even started and no official confirmation of propsed screening dates, this is subject to change. It's OK. We are action figure collectors. We are used to waiting...

My wife merely tolerates my hobby (she complains about how much room they take up), but she is totally on board for this one since the show is a favourite of ours!

We all seem up for Holmes. How about Watson? Essential? Passable?

You can't have one without the other.

Thinking about it, that would look wrong... Watson wouldn't sell out straightaway but he would sell out eventually. You'd be bothered by Watson not being next to Sherlock on your shelf, and in the end you'd have to spring for him.

Would be nice to get an update on this line, BC!
