Don't they get production samples from the factory? If those turned out well then why not show them off?

Exactly what I've been saying. You'd think you'd show off what you're proud of... unless you're not proud.

Anyway, people said they're scheduled to receive as early as Weds this week, so we should all know soon.

Hoping its a marvelous surprise.

I really hope BC comes through but it is very concerning at this late of the game, there is no actual production pictures.

I think Enterbay did that on one of their past Bruce Lee Game of Death release and when the figure finally came out,
it was bad. The figure look like Bruce Lee's extra and not anything close to Bruce lee.

Heres hoping we willall be surprise in a good way :)

Yeah talk about RED FLAG- if they had something to be proud of they would flaunt it- I'm poised to hit CANCEL on my orders with BBTS...If...

They haven't replied to any of my comments or messages on facebook as far as requests for posting some production photos of Bond. They at least had those few of GF and OJ not too long ago.

Gang

I was so looking forward to this release but
My Hunch (and I hope I am wrong )
is they are not going to be what we hope.

I was planning to sell my Yunsil Connery but not anymore

After over 1 year of production, the figures by now
must be ready and in hand for pics of the headsculpt

If the line goes south, it would be such a pity
Considering the Sideshow Bond is all we have
all these years

The have a "Moore..... Bond soon" header on their site. Live and Let Die coming soon.

They are cuing up their next Bond sales in conjunction with delivery of their first batch... so that's a good sign.

They might be decent but paint aps is what i'm worried about- I really want this set so hoping they come out great. Hope we get Thunderball Bond soon. The women HAVE to come next- Honey and Domino first for me!

Paint app can be redone. The biggest worry I have are the fit of the suits, the head size and the overall quality of the figure.

If the head size is too small or too big, that is a complete deal breaker.

The BCS prod fig pics from the factory looked pretty decent, tailoring seemed good even though they used pics of the OJ and GF sculpts inside their clamshells. :lol

I just set up delivery status notifications in FedEx. In the personal message section, I inputted: "This is gold, Mr. Bond. All my life I've been in love with its color... its brilliance, its divine heaviness." :yess:

When you get them you'll realize it's iron pyrite instead.

Their other figures don't look nearly that bad. Their sculpts are very good, for the most part. I would set my expectations for these at a kind of middle level. They will look nice, give you a good looking set of Bond figures but won't blow you away, based on my experience with their Doctor Who figures.

It's not the sculpts that worry me whenever I pre-order a big chief figure, it's the final paint job. That's always seems to be like playing action figure Russian roulette. Occasionally it's very good indeed, sometimes it's passable, sometimes it's downright awful. And there has been no consistency between one release to the next.

Yes, quite often they look a whole lot worse.

There's so much junk on their site that shaking a stick at it will make your arm hurt.

Okay now I’m very worried! I’ve only ever bought TZ or Hot Toys and jumped into this line without doing any research whatsoever based on the excellent protos. Guess we’ll find out this week.
