Just saw Oddjob and yea.. outfit is not quite as nice
but headsculpt is excellent!

Here’s hoping Goldfinger and Bond is on !

BCS should not feel singled out though, Sideshow get called out when they mess up and so do HT. Its not like anyone is picking on BCS for no reason.

Indeed. People call them as they see them, and do so with all companies releases. Some criticism is unfair, some is indelicate, some jumps the gun a bit, but the majority is, more often than not, completely valid. And being a customer, or even just a potential customer, gives one every right to voice an opinion, regardless of whether it is positive, negative, or somewhere in between.

My dad has now paid the postage for the set, so hoping that these can be sent to him by Christmas. And he can have them off to me for early in new year.
That video is ok. Well, the figure, not the video. I fast forwarded most of it.
Not a fan of video revues at all. I just wanted to see some stills if what I’m getting inside the box. After all, the box gets binned.

I think he looks great! Whenever I've looked at BCS pictures of the set, my eyes are always drawn to Oddjob for some reason. If Goldfinger looks this good, I'll be happy. Connery... for some reason, I'm pickier about Connery....

You're a bit more forgiving than me bud! I was not impressed initially, but reserving judgement for more pics. the jury is still out form me

What did you not like on Oddjob? Seems he needs a little futzing is all. Optibotimus' light-blasted set can wash out a lot of detail. I am eager to see more pics of course, but so far I'm relieved.

Me too. Odd Job definitely doesn't suck, in fact I think they went all out on this and my big worry, the paint apps, are very good. 8 out of 10 for me, I'm good with it.

Can't wait to see GF and Connery in hand pics.

Hmmm, it's already almost 3 a.m. in the UK, past the scheduled 12th shipping date and my FedEx tracking status is still "label created." Still keeping the faith though when the 13th hits California, before the estimated 10:30 a.m. that's stated.

I don't think any successful company refuses customer feedback no matter how hard it is to take in, though it seems BCS denies looking here which I don't believe to be true. Theirs was a catty response and not befitting the dignity and public image a good company should strive to maintain. No one can develop good product in a vacuum and I think what differentiates a good selling figure from a bad one is a respectful regard for the final product in the eyes of those who will ultimately decide whether or not to part with their hundreds of dollars per figure.

There have been bad snow and blizzard conditions in Birmingham since the weekend. BCS put a post on FB to say that the figures didn’t arrive on Monday as planned because of the weather. They said they expect to ship them today (13th).

I highly doubt every figure ships today, it'll likely take multiple days to ship them all out.
