Thought I'd take a stab at a William Cutting sculpt, aka Bill The Butcher, from Gangs of NY. I started it yesterday so it's still pretty rough but here's a WIP:

I'll continue to update as I progress. Cheers!

Here is the finished piece:

It looks great, exactly like him. looks finished to me, but im a novice. how do you go about sculpting a neck to fit on a hot toys body? do you sculpt round a ht neck joint?

Wow, that look fantastic so far! I would be REALLY interested in this if you offer them for sale. He is one of my favorites characters by far.

Glad to see other fans of the Butcher here. Thanks for the positive feedback. I do plan on making these available when finished. I was thinking of carving an outline of the eagle on his glass eye but realize it would limit the position that the eyes are painted. What do you guys think?

Have to agree with others here... this is just awesome! And I'd be interested in a casting as well.

I'd probably not bother sculpting the eye, basically for the same reason you mentioned. I think in 1/6 scale it would be hard to notice a sculpted detail... but it could definitely be painted in.

Any other work you have to share?

Great sculpt! Looks like with a little bit of change he could also easily become Danial Plainview

Right on guys! :D Thanks again for the encouragement it's much appreciated. Here's some more WIP's.

For quite some time I've been obsessing/working on some Blondie sculpts and outfits from the GB&U. You can check out the WIP here on my blog if you like https://www.spettersenart.blogspot.com
I have some other sculpts in the works but they're not quite ready yet, but when they are I'll definitely share em'. Thanks for asking galactiboy! :peace
