...I also don't like the re-spawning splicers when trying to protect a little sister while collecting ADAM...

Yeah, that achievement...

Master Protector
Get through a Gather with no damage and no one getting to the Little Sister.

...is almost impossible, even on easy! I don't expect to get it without it just being dumb luck!

The researching in this game is a little weird but still fun. I find myself with the camera out where ever I go.

I'm loving this game, every bit as awesome as the first.

I played a bit of MP last night and thought it was really fun, not as fast and frantic as it seemed in videos. I'm looking forward to putting in more time there as well.

yeah, a large scale pain cause these stupid kids are so dang slow. I mean if you're in a place like that I'd want to hurry a little faster, but no these stupid kids take their sweet time doing this crap. If I was their big daddy I'd stomp on the first one that about got me whacked. :lol

Anybody else having trouble witht he Playstation 3 controller with this game ? Every time I use one of my plasmids it ends up using it twice. And when I bring up the hud display for the weapons or plasmids, I have to press LB and RB harder than you would on the the360 ??

Just came back from a lunchtime trip to a local Best Buy. They had 4 or 5 LEs in stock. Pretty surprising, actually.

So far, I think I like the first one better. Not that this one is bad or anything, I'm enjoying it a lot but it's just not the same as the first. Can't put my finger on it, might just be nostalgia.

Sofia Lamb is no Andrew Ryan or Frank Fontaine. :lecture

I like the hacking tiles in the first Bioshock better than the new hacking style.

Is it just me or are the graphics a little better/crisper in the first Bioshock? :huh

Dual wielding plasmid and weapon is a nice addition. :clap

Limited Edition is well worth the extra $30! :rock

If this is supposed to take place in 1968, where's the Beatles or Doors, etc. is the same 1940's music. :wacky

That's right, you had better practice up. Don't forget, when I get there it'll be Winter Blast + Wrench! :D

I'm not sure yet, but I'm really liking this one... I'll let you know which I like better after I finish.

Not me! I always hated those damn tiles and could almost never hack a safe manually! Just not enough time! I really like this new system better! Much easier for me!

...Is it just me or are the graphics a little better/crisper in the first Bioshock?...

I hadn't really noticed a difference... appear about the same to me.

They had a war! Nobody makes it to surface anymore, and nothing certainly makes down to Rapture... until Delta! :D

The only people coming down to Rapture are the ones looking for their daughters, they aren't bringing Beatles records etc. Its the same people living there that whole time.

The splicers look less spliced then before, I thought they'd be rotting apart by now, but maybe all the messed up ones in the first game were a result of Dr. Steinman?

Gotta agree Lamb is no Andrew Ryan :lecture He was just too epic to be topped.

I miss the insanity of Suchong and Steinman, Xander Cohen, all the whack jobs. I'll add Father Whales is no Xander Cohen.

The Big Sister gives way too much warning before a fight it seems, and frankly some of the levels seem to drag on.

Still alot of fun though, a solid sequel, just doesn't have the same special feeling of the first one. The cinematical qualities. THe only time I felt that was when I first stepped outside under the water and saw the city.

They had a war! Nobody makes it to surface anymore, and nothing certainly makes down to Rapture... until Delta! :D

The guy looking for his daughter made it down. And Delta's been their all along, he blows his brains out in 58 and somehow wakes up 10 years later.

The first one was great there's no doubt there but right now I really like this one as well. For me its on par with the first game.

I didn't mind the style in the first one but I do like the hacking in this one better now that I got it down. I messed a couple up to start not realizing that the arrow will bounce back and forth.

I actually told Lonnie last night I thought the graphics where better on this one. At least I thought that one my first play through last night.

Dual wielding plasmid and weapon is a nice addition. :clap

Totally agree with ya there.

YES! Very glad my GS had a copy left when I got there and I could snag it.

I think thats just cause its a world still trapped in the 40's but some addition of 60's music would have been cool.

Not impossible because I just did it! :rock

I will give you a tip. Use a ton of those rivet traps, find a comfy corner where no one can come behind you and blast away!

Yeah, thats the plan if I redo this one area. I think you can do it at the first body a well. I think. :lol

I used the little mini turrets to get it, I didn't even know I had those things until like 3 hours in.

Just finished through Fontaine Futuristics. Gilbert Alexander is the coolest character/section in the game so far, nothing else comes close. Plasmid lvl.3s are also very cool.
