The research camera is ruining my gaming experience. Everytime I switch from my camera to my weapon, I go past the weapon I want to use and have to recycle back through them. :banghead

On the Grandd Daddy achievement. Is it 3 in a row without dying, 3 of the same type, or just 3 in general. I know I've killed 3 without dying but can't seem to get this one.

People think there's an achievement glitch because some need to kill more then 3 in a row to get it.

I'm wondering. I've killed 3 so I'll just keep going at it and try to see what happens.

Just raise hell at the game and wake the whole house up again and the only achievement you will get is JDad's boot up your ass.:rotfl

Just finished through Fontaine Futuristics. Gilbert Alexander is the coolest character/section in the game so far, nothing else comes close. Plasmid lvl.3s are also very cool.

I just started this level last night. Is Alexander a cheap ripoff of Sander Cohen?

I wasn't and still am not a big fan of the research camera.

I miss the U-Invent machines. I was hoping they would tweak it for Bioshock 2 so you would have to figure out how and what to combine to make stuff rather than just giving you a list.

I like so far how they tie in what happened in Bioshock with the tape recorders but it can still stand alone as it's own game.

I didn't find the little sisters in Bioshock annoying but the one's in 2 I kinda do. Still can't harvest one though.

No. He's much stranger and more eccentric, no where near the level of control Xander could have.

I just finished the game, the ending was great.

It's interesting having a few more choices in this game, not just the little sisters, but also with Grace, Lamb's husband, Gilbert, and Sinclair.

I am hooked on this game! I'm kinda glad I am missing achievements as I go along, gives me an excuse to replay this a few times. I never want this game to end! :rock

It's been so long since I played the first, do you guys remember if your plasmids, audio logs and other junk carry over to your next playthough?

Yeah, that achievement...

Master Protector
Get through a Gather with no damage and no one getting to the Little Sister.

...is almost impossible, even on easy! I don't expect to get it without it just being dumb luck!

Not impossible because I just did it! :rock

I will give you a tip. Use a ton of those rivet traps, find a comfy corner where no one can come behind you and blast away!

So funny! I found a spot and setup traps and mines and was ready to go... let her start the gather and then waited... and waited... and waited... not one splicer, Daddy, or anything came the whole time she was gathering! Now that was the easy way to get the achievement!!! :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl

Not in the original they didn't... I don't think they will in 2 either.

Finished it last night and I love it! I actually like it better than the first! The last level is intense!!!

..just looking at the NECA Bioshock 2 figures and thinking: "How bad-ass would a Big Daddy PF be?"

Yeah, I don't want him to break this game. :lol he was giving me all kinds of crap about me going off last night. Just gotta take deep breaths. :lol

There is one very very annoying glitch I have encountered. Some sequences (action) in the game will have a short 15-30 second build up of intense music. Sometimes that short musical sequence will get stuck and keep repeating until you finish the level or the game has to load or something, extremely annoying. It has happened to me more than 3 times.

Also a lot of times the character will just randomly jump across the screen. Example: I will be in an action sequence and as I am walking forward toward the enemy, the screen will 'jump' and all of a sudden I am facing a wall or the ground (as if I teleported 20 ft in another direction).

With that said, I am enjoying this game a lot more than Bioshock 1. It doesn't have the mystery of the first game. But the action is far better and overall the game is much more engaging. The big daddy and big sister fights can be intense and have you on your heels.

I've also noticed that after I kill a splicer, they scream and yell about 3 seconds after their already dead.

Comments on the ending:

I beat the game and got the 'good' ending, it sucks that Delta dies. Very interesting character, and his death seemed very unnecessary. Eleonore brings you back to life to save her only to then basically kill you. Your conscious and memories are transferred to her, but it's not the same. I was expecting her to die at the end and not the other way around.

The bad ending has the same outcome, just different motives.

I was expecting her to get killed as well but I still was happy with the overall outcome. Even if you were alive topside you'd be the Big Daddy, as Tennenbaum and Sinclair knew, it was irreverable. With the choices and Alexander, I fryed him in the tank, and I killed Sinclair too. But I left Lamb's husband alive, figured he was screwed anyway. Still got the good ending. I'm on my 2nd playthough now and the story is a bit easier to take in when your use to the controls.
