Niether Sony nor Microsoft has done anything spectacular to warrant a rabbid "FANDOM". Microsoft treats thier "Fanboys" with a system plague with quality issues (Im on my 4th XBOX360) and Sony needs to move to the next level and provide thier "Fanboys" better Online services and games , (not that they dont have some outstanding games yet, but they NEED MORE). I think Sony had the idea that just because they are Sony and carried the "PLAYSTATION 3" name it would come out the winner no matter what they charged, but its good to see they will always have to improve on thier system to keep up with competition.
If these companies keep striving to improve thier products and give consumers the respect we deserve, then we will all be winners.

No it doesn't because gamespot has microsoft's balls in their mouth. Allow me steal this from a more respected gaming site, IGN.com's review and I quote:

The 360 has richer colors, but the PS3 has better anti-aliasing making it look a little cleaner. Because GTA IV can preload onto the PS3 hard drive, the in-game loads are faster. If you really want to use IGN as the ultimate source of research on your platform of choice that is fine. Please do tell me which system has more original games rated 9.0 and higher? Is it the 360 or PS3?

I didn't say it was the ultimate source, I said it was more well respected and trusted.
Second the library for the 360 is much larger than the PS3 so it has a lot more 9.0 games, because it has more games. The the PS3 had a years edge over the 360 the scenario would be flipped. So the point is null.

More good? At the end of the day it is you who are missing out on good games. So what do I care? I have ALL the systems and I can play ALL the great 1st party and exclusive titles on each of the systems. You are stuck without all the great original games that the 360 has to offer. Sucks to be you.

Since its release in 2005, there have been some 374 games released for the XBox 360. Of the 374, 86 titles have received a ‘good’ rating(an average ranking of 80% or higher, as per GameRankings). 92 have received ‘poor’ ratings(an average of lower than 60%). That means about 26% of the games for the 360 are ‘good’, and about 24% are considered trash...with the other "decent" games falling in between.
The PS3 has seen 122 games released, with 40(33%) good games and 20(17%) poor games (ironic considering the most common argument against the PS3 is a lack of good games).
There you have it, GameRankings.com does not lie. We may have less games but more of them are better.

Umm, I hope you can do the math, 86 'good' games on the Xbox 360 is more than 40 'good' games on the PS3.
And you can't really trust the IGN review of GTAIV, they had an exclusive deal to release their reviews before anyone else and therefore are possibly susceptible to bias.

I am a fan of games, I don't care what system they come out on. I own all 3 console's but if it has multi player I will get it on the 360 because that's where my friends are and not because of some fanboyism of the system.
