:lol

Seriously though, is it too soon for GTG (if indeed it is a PF)? I think smart money would be on the Ringwraith PF, but I hope Gandalf isn't too far away :monkey2

It's usually a good 3+ month's from the time SS releases a sneak peek 'til the time that item is up for pre-order, so yes I think it's far too soon. I believe ToyFair 2010 is the likely time we'll see the GTG PF. :D

Well it looks like we have our answer....absolutely nothing LOTR-related. B&W Friday 09 just turned into one big flop. Thanks for nothing SS! Oh, and that website meltdown....nice touch! :moon

i guess us being all disappointed is an understatement eh? i was just eagerly waiting for the countdown to end and then *poof* my bubble burst! oh well...

Lamest B&W Friday.....ever. :( I can't believe I stayed up for this. :banghead

Sideshow, if your going to market and advertise something and anticipate it to get a lot of attention and do well I suggest actually having it work, and have something to sell or on sale:rotfl

GGRRRR! WEAK!

Well I am happy for the Elektra fans (and sideb(o)(o)b fans).

Not as bad as being trampled to death by plus-size women at the Walmart opening at least. Just more disappointing.

I lost sleep for this? Frakkin' lame. Thank the gods Weta's back in the LOTR business. So say we all.

I wish I could share your enthusiasm, but other than a few promising environments and some overpriced JH pieces, I see very little from Weta that has me excited. I look forward to seeing their Hobbit lines, but to me it looks like they are simply passing time until that day arrives.

I'd like to think they're just warming up. :naughty

Glad some of you guys are happy. I think this year's Black & White Friday was an epic fail. I noticed that the negative comments that were posted up on the discount page have been removed now. No. Sideshow's not trying to sweep that cluster frak fiasco that occurred this morning under the rug.

I couldn't agree with you more, self. I couldn't agree with you more. :duff

Unfortunately, I dont think Weta has the resources [namely enough highly skilled sculptors] to concentrate on what is sure to be a highly demanding Hobbit licence, and LOTR at the same time. Not to mention a line of 3" mini-shields/lapel pins and a line of 6" characters [if and when that line ever gets off the ground] isn't exactly my idea of awe inspiring.

I couldn't agree with you more, self. I couldn't agree with you more. :duff

I agree with both of you :lol....this B&W Friday event was/is a disgrace. The worst one I've ever encountered. :(

The following is for all of you that stayed awake for the big Black Friday announcements from Sideshow...

:rotfl

Sorry, I know, no need to rub salt in the wound. ;) :D

Well, I'm much more excited about JH's Sculpts and Bagend than anything Sideshow as on offer including Ringwraith Pf. The only thing that would get me to part with some £££'s is a Gandalf Pf, but thats my opinion.
