Skull imagery was banned in China so it's unlikely we'll get the classic skull helmet from the comics. It's possible though we may see it in an end credits or something.

The Red Skull was in both IW and EG though and both of those films were released in China.

People keep saying that, as if it was true.

That's not the reason, this is just a lazy an uninspired Taskmaster design. Even if they couldn't use the skull, they could still have done better.

Hulk was still off-planet and on Sakaar. What if the Hulk that battles Abomination is the Red Hulk? It would make sense, with Ross being in the movie. Hmm .....

At this point they can no longer hide the fact that TM is being played by a female in that costume but with it being that obvious can it just be a misdirect.
