Re: Black Widow (November 6, 2020)

I won't. It's a virus and outbreaks move in cycles - take a while to bank down. Miss the h3ll out of Alamo Drafthouse but not gonna race to a theater for a while. Even with a vaccine it's gonna take time.

Re BW whatever losses Marvel takes - IMO they should just release the film for a fee. Too much time is dragging by. Chop it up and add it to the streaming series or something. Sooner or later they're gonna raise D+ prices - so raise the price 1$ a month. They could've done that with Mando + BW and I wouldn't have had a problem with it. The Mulan experiment may have have been a bust, but that's not saying BW would be. I would've paid quicker for BW than a live action Mulan.

I will have to agree with this.

Yea the mulan movie sucks but almost all the Disney remakes do

Re: Black Widow (November 6, 2020)

Let the streaming cat fight commence

WW84 on HBO Max and soon to be announced BW on D+.

If I could only watch one sorry Gal but your villain is a giant hairy ***** I need to know who taskmaster is plus see that awesome rumored cameo for myself.

Seems like they're sticking to the theatrical release

Re: Black Widow (November 6, 2020)

This will be my first return to the movie theater come May :rock

It will be 2 years since an MCU movie released in theaters!

Damn I remember waiting 3 years for a SW movie and I ended up with Ewoks, Sand Hatred and NOOO!

I love that. I also love that the next SW movie won't come out until four full years after TROS. That really allowed the Infinity and Skywalker Sagas to have some finality and be set apart from whatever comes next in both franchises.

Casino Romanov lol

So yes I will be adding this to my IS collection

But why are you so quick to burn down the theatrical experience that has been around for 100 years just because of a one year shut down.

I have forgotten all of my miserable experiences in a theater but I clearly remember the pure joy of having experienced the OT, STM, Raiders, Aliens, Predator, RW, Conan, Die Hard, First Blood, Rocky, Airplane, T1, T2, Batman 89, JP, Saving PR, TDK, LOTR, MCU just to name a few out of the hundreds of masterpieces I have enjoyed with an energized crowd.

While I have personally reduced my own theatrical going experience I also don’t think future kids shouldn’t have those same experiences I had while growing up just because streaming services now exist

Thank the maker I didn’t experience 77 SW on TV first

So now that the vaccine is out plus my family is now temporarily immune for at least another 12 months I will gladly go watch BW in a theater

WW84 hell no lol

Money. Disney has deep pockets of money and want the bigger reward, which is controllable theatrical experience. WB might have had interest compounded on their costs and just went for the quick return on investment. Disney can play the long game.
