I know these things seen obvious but for some reason i thought there might had been a deeper or hidden meaning behind them lol.

The kid part confused me because why would a replicant need memories of childhood, at the end it made sense because it was her own memory, but at the beginning it didnt make sense. Unless the kids were replicants that grew.

Jared leto killing the girl robot felt strange because he was talking about the need for hundreds of robots and yet hes killing them. ( like when they shot the other one at the end)
Seemed counter productive. As mad as he was. I thought maybe there was more to his scene but it guess it didnt.

I guess i had those questions because i thought maybe there were other meanings behind it. But it seems pretty straight forward.

Wallace killing the "new model" is showing his frustration and jealousy towards Tyrell, not only with himself, but his replicants. As soon as Luv enters the room Wallace says to her, "Couldn't you pronounce a child has been born?" Pretty much saying, "do your ****ing job, or at least try."

He killed the replicant because she couldn't pro-create. Once they pro-create, he no longer needs to make replicants. They will make each other.

"I cannot breed them, so help me, I have tried. We need more replicants than can ever be assembled."

Wow....shows why we get movies that we do now...

Must be
1. Simple plot.
2. Face paced action
3. Lots of pretty faces and preferable ****ies
4. Lots of exposition and explanation.

If anything the story is very very simple.... what are these peeps talking about?
I love the movie but the plot was very straight forward. It didn't have any crazy twists or anything like that.
I think thats why i thought the scenes i was confused i felt maybe there was more to it.

Indeed.
Of course, I have seen the '82 movie, so not sure if that helps to understand better what's going on in 2049. Anyway, like you said the plot was straight forward.

It demands you to pay attention to understand what's going on. You're right, the story is pretty straightforward but when you actually have to turn your brain on, that's when people start losing it, thinking it's slow.

Meh, it makes the experience a little funner to watch, but you don't need to see it at all to understand.

The nearest AMC theater to me just re-released all Best Picture nominees this week except for Three Billboards which just left. Too bad BR 2049 didn't get a nom for those who missed it on the big screen.

I saw it at the cheap theater.
The screen was great. Audio was INSANE!!!!
Sometimes it got so loud i had to cover my sensitive baby ears :lol :lol

Theres no way i could have appreciated this as much as i did on the small screen.
There was soooooo much going on in the screen.
I can predict that the hate this movie will get will be by people watching it on their phone or something.

This movie really was all about the visuals. ( kinda like how 300 isanother movie you watch for the incredible visuals)

Im so happy i caught this on a big screen..... it is a movie that really demands a big screen..
