The wait is well worth it for what you get in the end Blitzways Scarface blow Enterbay out of the water!!!

:exactly::goodpost:
enterbay scarface is only overvalued
the dress is not that good
any shoulder holster, only a cheap cigar a gun and some money:monkey4
I should save only the head and the paint itself..
but i really don't like that espression (maybe for a corleone's figure)
so Bw all the life...
I disagree... is not catoon looking, the sideshow one is cartoon looking..:lecture

ATTENTION...All those who never saw CARLITO'S WAY or MEMENTO, drop your laptops and smartphones...I REPEAT DROP THE DEVICES AND GET ON IT ASAP!

I have all 3 Tony's too. I lean toward the EB respect but there are things I like about the Blitzway also. Put it like this, I'm keeping all three.

haters gonna hate

Carlito is certainly a step up from Tony in my opinion. I also had all 3, and side by side, once replacing EB respect's shirt with the BW, and of course keeping the BW stand and Chair, I parted the rest of it out, as everything else was far inferior in my eyes.

Having said that though, Im so happy the company is still around and is continuing to improve and offer us these great licenses!

Damn straight Chilipep. I love what HT does with the Sci-fi and comic culture stuff. And I'm a Star Wars guy so while it's not exactly HT quality, I'm diggin' SS latest SW non human offerings.

But we need some more players in the game to tackle the Drama genre. There are TONS of movies in the GoodFellas, Pulp Fiction, Casino, etc realm that deserve spots on the shelf. There's just no one around to tackle them who could do them the proper justice that they deserve.

BW sculpt has got a great likeness to pacino, and the entire package makes it an awesome collectible all together. It is a must see in hand, phots don't do it justice. The only Enterbay Scarface I am planning on purchasing is the "war version" because of its accessories and the sculpt. Besides that the clothing just looks awful IMO.

You guys mind talking about the film a bit? Spoilers coming up.

I had high hopes for the film by the half way point. The way they were setting things up was nice, but honestly the last portion of the film just kills it for me, which in turn kills my excitement for this figure because simply put I do not collect things that do not represent me in some way so my disappointment in the film is an example of this. I just do not see why someone would write it like this in the end. It makes it hard to like Carlito as a character. Due to some stubborn and entirely pointless sense of pride and loyalty (he himself got the recognition that they were even after demanding his "friend" to say it) he ____s over everyone important in his life. His girlfriend told him multiple times what he was doing and how it would affect her and she even said she was pregnant yet he still goes with it. It isn't even about some kind of code of honor or anything. It was stupidity and I failed to see how it was consistent with the character for the first two thirds of the film. To make matters worse he finds out his other so called "friend" is betraying him and yet he still has that friend go pick up his girlfriend, completely endangering her in the process. What kind of message was this film delivering? ____ everything and go by some macho dated barbaric code? It steps on all noteworthy values and instead tries to pander to a dying genre. He even hands her the money in some supposed tear-jerking scene as though he was doing her a favor when in reality he had stopped her from getting an abortion (I think?) earlier when she had mentioned not wanting to have a child grow up without a father. That's all he just did. He even says she would make a great mother. What the ____? Is something so materialistic really supposed to make up for this? Forces her to flee the area partly out of fear and forces her to raise a child by herself. Wow. Sorry if I sound upset, but I really do not like the underlining elements to this film. Aside from that it was very well done. Surprisingly excellent music score, some great acting, and an interesting level of suspense toward the end all contribute to the film's value. Maybe it just wasn't for me?

And could someone explain to me how spoiler tags work? I imagine anyone interested in the product has already seen the film, but I do not want to ruin anything for others. What do I need to do to hide text?

Overrated movie...
Plain and simple.

Pacino and his horrible "Puerto Rican" accent. It was bad enough years before he tried a Cuban accent and failed. But at least Scarface was given cult recognition over time with the popularity of ghetto trash who would like to buy jackets with Tony Montana prints, rappers who had to boast about something Scarface in their "crib," and the on-going growth of the movie's fame over time.

Carlito's Way is just bad movie making. You are correct about the arc of Carlito's character and moreover, the foolishness in the writing. The acting is just laughable at times and the shots were just bush-league, grade-school film making.

I like Pacino, and "Dog Day...," or "Serpico" characters in 1/6 form for me would be way more interesting and meaningful when we're trying to place focus and depth in a collection. Well, mine at least.

The best part of the movie too me by far was S.Penn. The movie too me should have been called, "David Kleinfeld's Way" more than "Carlito's."

His story arc was far more interesting, better acted, more entertaining and written better. I don't know if the screen play somehow lost the feel of the novels, yet again, those too me weren't that fascinating either.

In summary, Pacino doing another bad spanish accent just does not do it for me. Yo soy boricua and proud of it... yes, I stated that I'm Puerto Rican. And the truth is; the times he tried to either talk spanish were cringe-worthy or laughable, and at times, the accent he tried to pull off was either sublime or comedic.

La verdad es, esta pelicula es para personas que le gustan mierda. Trash for trash I pretty much said...

It's about some 'thug' on the streets who was jailed and continued to be a complete dope. Nothing redeeming, nothing inspiring and completely overrated. It's funny, why is it people from NY try to defend this movie's "greatness?" When I'm in BK or Queens with my sis and other ghetto fam, they insist that this is a stellar film, but when I talk to other film buffs elsewhere around the country, they trash it left and right and agree with me. It's like there's some sort of attachment with this film by NY, Ricans... And I don't care how many quotes from this movie were attached to Jay-Z albums or used for skits between his tracks. Meh.

Bueno, que se puede aser? Nada...

Excellent movie...
Plain and simple....

See how easy that is ? Sounds more like you're bitter against Pacino, or you need to get laid. It's one of the two.

With a counterargument like that you only make the entire movie's fanbase look bad.

I love Carlitos Way. One of my all time favorite movies. Back before ebay and the net in the mid to late 90's, I was in High School and even paid a lot of money from a local poster store to track down a Movie poster.

That said, I always did hate his accent. He just kind of....spoke jive and tried to call it a PR NY accent. I expected much better of him.
