Carlito is actually one of my bigest roll models and I too aspire to one day be "the JP Morgan of the smack business", reach the peak of my lavish life and then hit rock bottom by losing everything and getting locked up. Then when I get out on a technicality and inch by inch start to build myself back up....I'm gonna blow it all again MOFOs!!!!! :rock:rock:rock:rock

:lol

Yea I personally don't feel like I need to directly relate or understand or even agree with a character person or motives for me to love the character and movie. But hey, people can all have they're own reasons for why they like a move/character. My favorite movies tend to be really violent and twisted and my favorite characters tend to be psycho & killers. Mickey & Malorey, Alex De Large, Patrick Bateman, etc.

And I haven't killed anyone...yet :devil

That headsculpt is seriously, properly good.

If the production piece comes out at a similar quality, I'm all over this.

I'd get this just because it looks so cool. Blitzway's Scarface was one of the first 1:6 I purchased. I have yet to get one of the EBs. BW definitely needs more licenses, because they can definitely compete with the big boys. Maybe they could land the Matrix or LotR. I'd also like to see a company that can finally create spot on female likenesses.

:lol I've been checking their site regularly since I found out about this. I hope this gets announced soon. I also hope they're able to pick up the pace and crank out a few releases a year. We need to see more of this genre in the collecting world

Not sure if he counts being as in this genre but a Cape Fear Deniro would be epic

A Max would be insane :yess:. Cape Fear definitely falls into the Drama and Thriller genres. And that's exactly the kind of stuff I wish we saw more of. I love Sci-Fi, Action and comic culture stuff as much as the next guy here. But there is a whole essence of movie and character that there is a major drought of, and I believe there is a market for.

So I'm praying that BW will be the guys for the job. Really I hope that another company jumps in and follows their footsteps. I don't know if I can wait for BW to release 1 fig per year :lol

If the quality of the product is as good as that proto and a year is what it takes, then I'm willing to wait. But we'd also like to enjoy these things while we're still alive too..

I spoke to Blitzway earlier in the week, I was told more info would be forthcoming soon. But if Scarface was anything to go by I would say patience is the order of the day.

I'll wait as long as it takes for this guy to come to life...but I don't know how patiently I can do so :gah:

:lecture:exactly:
I want it yesterday:( This is going to Be Amazing in my collection...best pacino likeness to date.:yess:

But no info or word on this since the teasers:gah:

Seriously. If the turn around time will be like it was for Tony, then I'm just keeping my eyes off of the clock. This thread is only a little more than a month old so we may have a ways to go. Hopefully they're able to produce more efficiently this time around. Well see. Thank God there are plenty of other things going on in the hobby to keep me distracted :lol

Unless its already been posted before (confirmed) my guess is each piece must go through a thorough inspection, touch up and replacement process before the official release. What I mean is, each piece must take tons of time to reach its acceptable level of completion.

The fact that we've seen "split shipments" also proves this too. Sideshow, Enterbay, Hot Toys, etc. Now picture a company 1/3 or 1/4 the size of HT's and you have Blitzway.

My guess is we're still at least 3 months away from release.

3 months is a breeze, I'd be very happy with that. I was expecting something more along the lines of Tony's turnaround time, like almost a year.

I think the issue is figures aren't 100% their forte. In that aspect they are like 1/30 the size of HT :lol. They started as CK Pictures Co as a film production company and Blitzway is the name that they gave the portion of the company that they are selling figures under. This is only gonna be their 6 offering since 2006 so I’m hoping that they don’t continue this 1 per year thing forever.

if this carlito will have the same time of the release scarface's figure we will wait for one year..:monkey3
