This and Hulkbuster. The waiting is driving ppl mad.

Ripley and WW to a lesser degree. But tensions running high 'round these parts.

It's not driving me mad, I just want them to deliver a quality item even if it means delays. Better a quality product than a fast release.

Me neither. Mad was a poor choice of words on my part.

This is creating great expectations, anticipation is running high. I think that's a better description.

Can't wait for these. That is going to be some day when the 4 pack arrives.

We all need to agree that flipping out over the usual 20% drop from Porto.....

That's the madness that should be curtailed....because we all know it's inevitable.

I'm surprised, but I guess I really shouldn't be at how many people still complain about the softening in the HS when it comes to the production piece, especially when it's often a good thing at times. Maybe it's just a lot of new collectors getting into the game, or it's hardened veterans who still can't seem to understand the process yet. Lol.

On another note....is it August yet?

They got at least 85% of the great KAK Durden sculpt in the production piece IMO.

I remember the whole 'soft sculpt' debacle with the Bespin Luke head.

That was around the same time there were rumors that the DX Joker 2.0 heads were "painted" using a dot matrix printer.

This hobby can be pretty funny sometimes. And by funny I mean stupid.

At this juncture, I'm guessing 4TH QTR 2017 or 2018.

So the question is will we see final release at SDCC or a UNBOXING Video 1st ? I'm betting at san diego con with the ECT0-1 i hope n prey with some new figure's from the line. I highly doubt it tho since they responded saying no DANA or Tully or puppys release when asked them 6 months ago. Anyway still patiently waiting.

I yuk yuk'd really hard reading this post having been around the board to see these "happening's" occur live and in color. Your last statement is pretty much the perfect description for this hobby.

I'm ready to buckle down for whats to come for ****z and panic for the release just like durden and then the fawning and loving adoration for when we get this fabulous set in our hands. Cause ya know we got's to get the popcorn ready for this release.

At this stage of the collecting game.....I adore the first pic freak out........

Usually I wait for an actually forum member to post pics before I hold court on the figure.

I watched Tylergate unfold, and actually bought the figure based on pics that came from board members.....if I had turned away after those first shots....I would have missed out on one of my favorites from 2016.

The grand irony of it all, is that with how 'particular' people are about details, the in-hand pictures that are posted are (mostly) crap.

There are very few people on this forum that post quality photos.

This forum can easily make a decent to great figure look like crap.

On the other hand, there is a lot of excessive rationalization that goes on early, and particularly later on into a thread. The Hot Toys Indy sculpt being a great example of that. Bad lighting, lens distortion, and angles can only obscure so much of reality. But sure, you can't get a full impression before a number of pics are out there.
