Just realised the Proton wand lights up redish/orange colour. around 1:22 on wards you can see.
Also what ever happened to SS Peter and Egon? Did anyone order those?

Yeah I'm really loving all the lights on the Proton packs. Just a shame it would be hard to really see that once the figure is on the shelf. Maybe I'll have to set up a mirror in the back, or get one of those turntables....

I actually completely forgot about the SS busters. Did they have them at SDCC or any other show recently?

Eh personally I think people freak out way too much over battery leakage on here. Nothing's going to happen in the first 5 or 6 months you have the figure (if not longer), so you might as well enjoy that cool extra feature you paid for.

Sorry guys had been scrawling back through the pages but can't remember where I saw the date these are expected to ship. Are these close to shipping? Am tempted to pull the trigger but need to know release date so my finances work out correct.

Think I have managed to source a set. Now to try and figure out how to make some cash. Anyone want to buy a wife? Slightly used but still in good nick. The occassional moan but nothing you haven't heard before.

Never seen a battery leak before......mine have the batteries in them.

All my figures older than 4 years batteries have leaked. I take them all out or never put them in. I never use the light up features anyway. I'll check the packs out on these guys, take a few pictures and pull the batteries. Maybe leave one with batteries in for a couple months to show friends.

Hydrogen Peroxide with a bit of vinegar and a Q-tip will clean up 95% of all corrosion. I've used this on several iron man figures and you would never be able to tell the terminals had a leak. Clean contacts and battery compartments as well. I would not be too afraid of a little leakage it really doesn't do much damage more than a pain to clean from my experience.

batteries leak into some of these figures? Hmm...Better check my Iron Man when I get a chance. His batteries are fairly dim and I've had him awhile. Hope there's no corrosion.

I think if I was “entertaining” the idea of purchasing the Ecto-1, I would prefer that it not be as clean looking!! I would prefer a more “used, hardworking, New York dirt” look.
“Battle Damaged” always gives 1/6 a real quality!!

I've been collecting for a LONG time, been a Freak since early 06 and I can tell you (knowing the quality of my BW Durden) that opening these GB figs (I got the Doc pack) will be one of the most momentous collecting events in many years. That's what I'm calling this -- A COLLECTING EVENT.

And these could be in our hands in less than a month.

BTW, I've never had any GB figures (that I would collect)
