Re: Blitzway - 1/6 Scale Ghostbusters - Collectible Figures and ECTO-1

I have durden. It's serviceable but is not a ttm by any stretch. The rubber is thin on the chest overlay. Their hand pegs are a pain in the *** to change out. On my fight club sets they are really hard to swap. Legs rotate fine, you can get dynamic poses. Torso is very lose and can slouch from a back pivot.
One of my Durden wrist pegs broke off really easily. Pretty cheap bodies, compared to Hot Toys. Having said that, if there are any issues with the torsos slouching, they could probably be adjusted one way or another. I have experience fixing loose joints going back to 3 3/4" GI Joes.

Crazy 8 braided rubber bands? First rule of GI Joe, must have rubber bands.:lol

:lol As a kid, I used my sister's hair ties! Though thankfully those little black ones are easy to get on the internet. But I've also used lots of clear nail polish to steady up loose knees, shoulders, and necks.

Blitzway ?? That's what I couldn't work out actually. Their star sculpter "moved" to Molecule 8.
So is my assumption correct ??

she does freelance commission work. If you want her to sculpt something for you ...you can contact her and she will do it if you paid her right.

Ok thanks for the info. Makes sense. She's certainly an awesome artist !!

With my 3-pack, I either plan on doing this set up with Slimer with the proton streams attached:

Or these poses for each, with Slimer somewhere in between them:

(Something along those lines for Ray)

Of course that could change depending on what the articulation and suits of the figures allow, but either of those two displays is the current plan. If I end up adding Winston later, I'm not sure what the group pose or his individual pose would be at the moment. :lol

Yup me too almost, Ray, Egon , and Peter facing forward all the way in the back, beams up to slimmer in the middle

Poor winston with back towards me in the front so the proton pack will be shown

Re: Blitzway - 1/6 Scale Ghostbusters - Collectible Figures and ECTO-1

I don't find the BW body to be that bad actually, I have Tyler in a pretty dynamic pose and he sits fine.

The wrist pegs are a bit weaker, but I never change out hands unless I harm them with a hair dryer....learned my lesson there with an HT body, so even those are subject to break.

I think the joints are a bit looser, but nothing so bad that it would cause a figure to slouch......perhaps they have QC issues with the bodies?

My Red Jacket Durden, Fur Coat Durden, and Carlito are all as sturdy as any other 1/6 figure I have. No slouching on any of them or any other issues...bad batch somewhere maybe...

I haven't had any joint issues with my durden either. But quality of plastic is not up to that of a truetype body.

Why aren't they making a Walter Peck? The man has no ****. He's would be the most accurate figure made.
