Re: Blitzway - 1/6 Scale Ghostbusters - Collectible Figures and ECTO-1

I'm not sure, the Egon sculpt looks a bit reworked to me, as you said yourself last month something looks different.

The expression of the mouth doesn't looks as pronounced as it was on the prototype, and the eyes looks a bit more spaced out and not as beady and narrow. The jaw area also looks reworked to where he doesn't have as much of a triangular shaped face, as the proto seems to have. Even though I thought the proto was good, I think the production is definitely improved.

You (and I) may be right....lips look wider, and that chin is different for sure.

First thing that happens when I get these is making replacement glasses for Egon.

What bothers you about them? For 1/6 they look pretty good.

I made some customs 1/6 MIB and finding decent sunglasses I'd hard!

Any easy way to do that? Round glasses are pretty much impossible to find and I need some.

If you visit my custom section you'll see I have made one or two pairs before. ;)

Well Mr. Painter, did you bring enough for everybody...?

I'm sure I can persuaded to make enough for everyone. ;)

Nah, I knew what you meant - I was just having a bit of fun :) Back on topic, properly crafted glasses would add a nice "pop" to an already stellar-looking Egon figure. I may have to swap the pair that are currently on my custom.

I guess i'm really looking forward to these.
I had a dream last night that a coworker got his set in and was throwing a party. So i went to check them out and he said they were in a room down a hall then downstairs. It was a huge crazy maze to get there with hidden doors and panels, hallways you had to crawl down because the were really small, odd shaped rooms that changed shape as you tried to walk/crawl across, etc.
When we finally got to the room the figures were in he said that we could not look at them because Blitzway did not want people to se them yet but he thought i would be happy being in the same room as them :lol

This was my favorite piece from SDCC. AS awesome as this Ecto 1 is I decided against it. Too big, gonna be too much and I don't have the GB figures in order. I just picked up a Hot Wheels Elite Ecto 1. Cool little piece. I really like it. This satisfied my Ecto 1 craving without breaking the bank and throwing my display completely out of wack. 1:18 is a njce scale, a little small, it will allow me to build a garage of my favorite movie cars without it look like I have a lineup of mini-power wheels lining my shelves. I'm eyeing up the BTTF Elite Delorean, autoworld Christine and Hot wheels 1989 Batmobile.
