In the meantime, I think I might try heating up Venkman's head and squeezing it a bit narrower, just to see how that might look.

Is there any chance they will fix Winston's paint app on at least some later batches? HT made changes to Wonder Woman after her initial Hong Kong release.

This is another thing I'm taking into consideration, and why I'm balking on PO'ing Winston right now as is. If I recall correctly, I think IAT said they're going to do another batch of these in his review.

You would think they'd correct the issue for that second batch if that is the case. Even the first batch I assume they do them in runs of x number a time. Could give them time to just tweak the paint colour a little.

And Winston is showing sold out at BBTS. Makes sense if a lot of people ended up with the three pack.

Didn’t the Tyler Durden figures sell out at BBTS for preorder and then were plentiful in stock once they were actually released?

Regarding ECTO-1, I agree that the roof rack needs to look a little more...weathered. The rest of the car actually looks pretty clean though.

I'm still shocked (and very happy) they are making it. I guess i'm used to HT and years of teasing vehicles (BTTF2 Delorean/66 Batmobile) and never actually making them. Looking forward to ordering this even though i have no room for it.

A lot of figures have shown sold out only to available again once they"re actually released on bbts. Just funny that the worst of the 4 is now the one showing sold out.

For a lot of people, I think it comes down to the fact that you have to have the entire team.

Sorry... Just trying to make you think twice about doing that to a massively expensive figure! And does it actually work? I thought plastic and rubber always returned to the original shape it was moulded into.

Well yeah it'll bounce back, which is why I'm not too worried. It's only if I like the look that I'd dunk it in some ice water to lock it into it's new shape. And it's only some very minimal narrowing that I'm talking about here.

My guess is that BW is done with GB after the ECTO-1. It was like when SSC did TOD Indy and people were like "think we'll get Shorty or Willie?" There just isn't the market for stuff like GB2 or the secondary GB1 characters like Louis, Terror Dog or even Library ghost. It gets to a super-fan level that goes from many thousands of buyers for the GB team down to a few hundred worldwide for Louis etc.

I like to think Terror Dog and Louis might get buyers because they are so memorable but I can't see BW ever doing them in the real world of a $220 Louis Tully.
