My goodness this set is incredible. I only got Ray all fixed up tonight as I had an issue with the electronics switch of the proton pack that took me a while to fix. Overall this offering is a home run for me. Winston is nowhere near as red as many photos are showing and his sculpt is quite good. Its going to take much longer to get everything displayed but as great as the set is I see it as a labor of love.
Here's some shots of Ray, more to come when I get the others setup. Over the moon for these guys.:clap

Stunning!

My 3-pack is in transit and the scheduled delivery date has been moved up to Thursday, but still no word from BBTS on Winston and today is the 10th day from the email they sent out that they expected it to have it in stock within 10 days.

I just hope there no major paint anamolies in the sculpts.

Thank you sir. You will be blown away with the paintwork. It really is HT quality for Egon and Peter. Ray has some good paint, the hair is a bit soft on sculpt but goggles on it should not bother someone.

Here's a couple quickies of Winston's sculpt and paint straight out of the box and no futzing. A tiny bit of shine but I think one shot spray of some dull coat could fix that quite easily.

That Winston sculpt does indeed not look as bad as played up to be. I can't wait to assemble these and have them in the detolf.

Congratulations to everyone getting these! Please keep the pics coming so those of us Down Under can live vicariously through them.[emoji868]

Opened up Winston and it is too red for my taste ; I’ve already sent the head to a friend for a recast and paint. I don’t wanna mess with the original head. You never know..

I feel for you C-Brock. Worth the rest of us noting that the proton wand can break, sometimes you have to be quite forceful when getting the gloves to hold it.

I hope BBTS can resolve the issues.

Thanks, Tom - That is good for others to know. Unfortunately, I didn't have that exquisite moment of horror which comes from breaking something on an expensive collectible - These guys just showed up like this :(

sorry to hear about the defects. whether you have them now or will have breaks later be prepared for endless fixing up of ghostbusters. it's a fragile set.

I feel if you go down the road of sending things back and not fixing it yourself you will be forever sending back and forth your ghostbusters.

I understand that, Raymond, but please don't take my issue out-of-context. I've been buying collectibles for a long time so keep glue, touch-up paints, needle & thread, etc. readily available. Over the past five years, I can count on one hand how many times I've had to initiate an exchange over QC issues and/or shipping damage, and I literally buy things ALL THE TIME, so this is a non-issue. As I mentioned before, Egon & Winston were in perfect order but there were some obvious inconsistencies noted during each figure's unboxing. For example, some of the figures' packing trays were securely taped together while others were not, arriving with their accessories rattling about loose inside. If you've gotten any of these in-hand, you will know there is an adhesive-backed foam piece holding the proton wand in place - Peter's foam had apparently come loose during shipment, causing the wand stem to break off. The harness clip was broken without rhyme or reason - My guess is that it was simply missed during packaging at the factory. The most glaring issue for me is the paint damage. Trying to accurately match the flesh tones on the most visible parts of the these figures is not something that I, or anyone else, should have to do when receiving a brand-new collectible set that has been patiently awaited for 14+ months of deposit-required pre-order status.

Sigh. I was supposed to have mine delivered to my dad's house on Wednesday. It was a can't miss plan. I'm normally off work on Wednesday but I figured, "just in case, they mess with my schedule, I know my dad will be home" and they messed with it worse than normal. Now my dad won't be home either cause he'll be babysitting my son and my wife has to work that day too. It all adds up to UPS missing all of us on Wednesday. Hopefully they make another attempt Thursday or I get lucky and it comes early and hits today.
