When I kitbashed customs many years ago, I used some that were similar to these:

The taller ones seem more screen accurate, though I actually used some more like the first link.
These don't have the zipper on the side but this is more or less in line with what they wore.
imo real lace boots usually made on pleather. i recommend applying angelus finisher to seal it.

real lace kinda sucks trying to tie it nice..most of the time its vertical instead of horizontal or slanted 1 side. dont have this issue on my 1:1 laces
Agreed. luckily the boots i bought had really long laces that made it easy. When they were tied, I trimmed the ends and then put this stuff I bought at a fabric store on the knot to "secure" it. looks and holds great.

until you need to untie it to remove the boots 😂

Hoping the community can give me some guidance…Winston’s right arm popped out and appears damaged…any suggestions on replacement arms or body types that match?

My Winston had an arm break while still inside the box. I managed to repair it though. Does it seem like there's a piece broken off inside?

I will tell you all the bodies are crap and I’m gonna do a full replacement on all of them trying to figure out the right ones. Just about all of them have weak joints. I think a leg fell off, but slips right back in that kind of stuff.

I'd love to hear about what sort of body you decide on. Maybe a body swap would fix their heights as well.

if you can fish out the rattling part, rejoin it with the original piece, but then reinforced it with a metal pin. Then, using a hair dryer to soften the joint/hole, and then attach the male to female parts

Appreciate the advice will give it a go!
